  1. You are supremely lucky because such good parents and you know that I can tell. But I will tell you this my father is not patient whatsoever and he would have made a scene on the video and you know he's 73 but I mean when we were younger he's just not a patient man and my mom is no longer with me however you are so lucky to have family come help you so so lucky can you know it

  2. I use a similar mixture except I use Epsom salt and I find blue dawn has been the most effective soap. I've been using it to take out some volunteer trees, it's slow but working!

  3. Just stumbled upon this video – Save your evergreen needle mulch! Use it where ever you use bark mulch. Use it in/on your tree rings or, the space around your tree trunks younkeep, you keep, of grass. Use it as a winter cover for the dirt around your berries especially blue berries, raspberries, and domesticated black berry cultivars. – As you add salt to your driveway, be careful of potential salt build-ups.

  4. please DONT PUT SALT ON YOUR SOIL .. it poisons the ground and makes it so the things you want to grow cant grow either. It makes the soil barren unable to support life. it doesnt just stay in the gravel, it leeches out into the surrounding soil when it rains or snows. Look it up. The dish soap and vinegar are plenty to kill weeds. The dish soap strips the weeds of their natural oil coating, the vinegar is an acid that ruptures cell walls. Combine them with strong sunlight and the weeds are burned and dry up. Works best during the hot months when your expecting a clear sunny day.

  5. If you don't already, those weeds would make a great compost for your garden! Let them rot into soil and use it in your gardens. No cost healthy soil! But smart and clever as you are, you probably know that already. I really enjoy your videos.

  6. I used 20% vinegar & soap, no salt because this was weeds in an old garden bed. The leaves welted for a day & moved on as if I had not done anything. 20% vinegar was order from Home Depot.

  7. Just started watching you and subscribed. You have so much energy. I watch to get my old bones motivated.
How sweet of your parents to come help. Such a joy to help our grown children when we can.
Save those pine needles.. I use them to cover beds in the winter and for walkways. Some people actually pay good money for pine needle bundles to use in their flower gardens as mulch. Waste no want not. I bless you. Love watching you.

  8. What was your father putting on the ground after you had sprayed everything? Sorry I could'nt understand what you said it was and I can't find it in the description. Xxx

  9. I use the boiling water from water bath canning and hit the weeds in areas where I don’t want the salt or vinegar to change my soil ph. Works like a charm every time!

  10. Stumbled upon your channel and couldn’t stop watching. Your family is awesome. Much love. I’m actually watching you on my big screen and on my iPhone. I’m looking for your recipe for your Apple Crisp. Also you are so young and brave. I love gardening but am afraid of wildlife. Lol I’m getting better though. Looking forward to watching all of your videos.

  11. You may want to research the toxicity levels of the ingredients used, which are, in fact, chemicals. They are actually much higher than Round-up and many other commercial seed killers. This mixture will kill the surface portion of the plant but not the root.

  12. Of course your parents know that the Vinegar solution only kills the TOP portion of the weeds while the PREEN will attack new roots coming up but this isn't a FINAL solution, all must be reapplied from time to time.
