  1. Do you feel that raised garden beds have helped with protecting your seedlings from garden pests like rabbits??

Just filled my in ground garden bed with all my leafy green starts and about half have gotten demolished by what I suspect is a rabbit in the last few days.

  2. You are a really amazing teacher, Jess. As a retired teacher – I really appreciate BOTH your extensive expertise – AND – your excellent instructional skills. You build confidence as well as skills. You also encourage us to think for ourselves To ask questions and apply knowledge wisely. Thanks! And Happy Easter!

  3. I broadcasted my radish seeds lightly in containers outside so I would save space indoors, plus not have to harden them off. They’re growing perfectly and I can thin for salad greens while waiting for radishes.

  4. I get to start my seeds that need to be started 8 weeks early today! Your videos are making me so pumped for being in the sun and dirt and enjoying the fresh air
I also get my first ever chicks this week!
Your videos are so informative and motivational!

  5. Wow this is an awesome video. Tons of information and to the point without all the fluff. A perfect mix of information and encouragement to do your own research . I’m excited to move from the archaic gardening methods to raised beds.

  6. I just ordered your book for my daughter, I have learned so much from you and I have a beautiful garden this year for the first time.

Now she is wanting to start a raised bed garden, thank you for sharing so much with others.

  7. you are the most amzing teacher, you have inspired me to build and grow in raised beds, which has enabled me to emjoy it so much more, your enthusiasum for tomatoes has me trying new tomatoes every year, and before i started watching your channel i was avoiding all tomatoes due to what i beieved was an intollerance, and today when im not sure how much space i need to plant, your video pops up, its like everytime i need to know something, even if i dont know i need to know, your videos teach me more any more, thank you x

  8. Been gardening with raised beds for years. Just want to say you did a great job explaining how to space your plants in raised beds. Anyone thinks they can’t get new tips on gardening is fooling themselves.

  9. This was such fabulous advice for newer gardeners. I grew up with my mom doing the old "victory garden" method, and there are so many vegetables always recommended with that that I don't love and won't use. It took me many years of trial and error to figure out, and I'm still learning about new growing methods on our current farm of 5 years. Thanks for sharing your advice!
