READ THIS ABOUT THE FERTILIZERS I MENTIONED:
This is the fox farm fertilizer i was holding today. This is also NOT organic and should be used VERY diluted if you go this route: https://amzn.to/3dwuyVR
I Actually PREFER this fertilizer:
Neptunes Harvest: https://amzn.to/3rWoMSR
If you are seed starting in potting soil, neither of the above are even needed. You can just give your plants a boost with a vitamin supplement like SuperThrive: https://www.amazon.com/s?k=superthrive&ref=nb_sb_noss

You speak the truth!! Even though certain things seem common sense, I have to visually see someone show me or tell me what to do. From how to plant to how I'm supposed to harvest even lettuce. That's just how my brain processes! I appreciate you Jess and all you've taught me!!
Go Ben.
The repetition helps not only the listener, but the teacher too. We are less likely to forget them when teaching the next time, kind of like muscle memory only for our brains. It's like any skill well honed. Appreciate your sharing the details, and I'm a decades old gardener and teacher myself. But the, a gardeners are teachers really, everyone we share how we do something with others who are learning.
The kid and Ben jumping around, dang that would be nice to have that energy! They are so much fun to watch. ❤
If I don't recall anyone tell me a simple thing, I will talk myself out of what I know is right. So, I appreciate you repeating the simple stuff.
Oh to have his energy! He is the cutest! The goats are cute too!
I live in Oregon, Up in the NW corner (Zone 8) and for the most part, we don't put tomatoes in the ground until after mothers day!
Hi Jess! No worries on explaining simple things. Everyone needs to be reminded at one time or another, and not everyone thinks about things like this. Besides, whatever you say to us is never said in a condescending way that would make anyone feel bad. You have such a way with words and talking to people that is awesome. I find it very comforting listening to you. Oh my, the new baby goat is so precious and beautiful. It's too bad you can't keep him since he's so different in color than your other goats, but I understand him needing to go with his Mom, and you only want does. Seeing the boys out playing and watching the baby goats playing with Ben was so much fun! Thank you so much for sharing! BTW, dinner looked delicious!
I love how he spot checks you & then gets excited… "like this one?, YA!" lol
That buckling is adorable. Ben does parcoure with the goats. LOL
BGF, my goodness, they're so cute together!
Best lawn trimmers ever !
I love how relaxed you are with your children.
I need to be that way with my son. I get a bit too snappy and quick with him. Its helpful to see a mom being so relaxed with her kids.
Was watering my seedlings and was ivehorrified to see hundreds! of ants on the shelves. Put ant bait on shelves but how to prove my this?put more bait traps on floor Help!
Young Ben is a goat too!
Ben's gonna be a knowledgeable gardener and homesteader when he's older ❤ so cool that you're teaching your children and all of us
Wow ! Wish my hubby knew how to cook, or at least wanted to
Discovered radish greens this year, totally yummy!
i was wondering what breed gabriel is, looks like a maremma?
I like how Bear gingerly makes his way through the plants just like his master.
You should name him after John-boy Walton
How can you not keep the white buckling! Come on he is just the cutest!
I saw the couple thats buying your farm! So blessed you both are!
What is the name of a decorative garden that is also used for food purposes? You briefly mentioned it to Benjamin in one of your videos, but I cannot find it. I am trying to do research on it!
