Can I ask, is there a method of fixing the long legged seedlings? All of mine have grown too tall, should I just get them in the beds and bury them deep?

This spring, 2021, we built raised beds and spent hundreds on raised bed omri soil that was 80 o/o mulch filled with chunks and chunks of mulch. I was very angry and will never buy raised bed soil again. Huge waste of money. How can they lie like that and sell such a crappy product? Do they not have quality control? Or are they just laughing all the way to the bank.

ive never been into gardening to be honest im just some average 19yo guy and for some reason im obsessed with mint plants so now im all over growing them and making sure theyre healthy. Your tips n' tricks are great!
you mentioned the root bound putting the plant into dorment stage.. and tomatos i would transplant them twice before putting them outside. first into a solo cup where i would bury them past the seed leaf, and then into a milk carton where i would bury them 4 to 6 inches deeper. and when i moved them outside i would bury half the plant to add an over all extra foot of stem that would send roots out, and the vine at the ground surface would be almost an inch thick. first 2 sets of flowers i would pinch, and the fallowing 4 sets of flowers i would thin to select number.
by july the plants would be taller then my 5 foot cages. by august i would be cutting the tops of the green monsters to make them putout new lower growth and more energy into fruit.
Hahahaha…I LOVE IT! I have done this forever, i call it baby dirt! Let’s my babies grow easier. Add a smidge of clean sand to your mix for starting. Helps with keeping things moist under those lights and gives a little free support and keeps the soil from clumping as the roots grow.
