We are exactly the same about our eggs. We even eat the smaller and give the big pretty ones.
What are the tires on the fence for?
Yes! Absolutely! Those seed packet descriptions are very persuasive.
Rule of thumb in NJ is to wait til after Mother's Day. I'm trying to hold out. SO tempted to plant yesterday. I did put some radishes in that I had started. Tonight we have a surprise frost. My poor radishes.
Not your usual style.
Always so fun to watch you in your garden.
Jess u can freeze dry lots…. Easy to move n store…… That will help when u r sooooo busy
Building new…..
Love your videos! One quick thing, you should pull the volunteer sunflowers from your garlic. Garlic doesn’t like any weed crowding and the bulbs will end up small. It’s hard to do, give up on this beautiful sunflowers, which is why I know, because I made this mistake and let volunteer sunflowers grow in my garlic 2 years ago and the bulbs were too small for us to sell or replant for the following year.
The oasis' of the greenhouse and the arbor were so beautiful in the night.
My heart moves when listening to your passion for your family and farm! As a viewer and sub, I'm blessed to receive your knowledge, humor and faith! Thank you for sharing!
I planted those purple long bean 2 years ago. They are really tasty but they will fill out and the skins thin and then they aren't very good eating after that. They are very prolific and I only need to plant 4 maybe 5 of them to feed my whole family all summer right up to first frost.
Why don't you soak your beans before sowing?
Yes, poetic seed packages…oh yeah.
Morning Jess. I have never eaten fresh Eggs x The family behind our House has Chichens not sure how many. Our Gardens are not that big. I qute like the sound of them when we are in our Garden x We have frosty mornings here in England and beautiful Sunny days x
That egg basket, though…
I also really struggle with squash bugs. I mentioned it to one of the vendors at our farmers market and she told me that you can spray day old coffee on the plants to deter squash bugs! I plan on trying it this year to see if I have any luck. Maybe it will help someone else as well
Being that we can't usually plant before Memorial day; it is really nice to see you plant and get results!
I ransacked all the sheets last night to protect my tomatoes here in central NC. I am so glad it is over until fall.
Oh Jess your so funny. 2 sisters and a peasant. Those baby goat crying mama to you is so precious. Can you show the blackberry supports or fencing closer? It looked cool at the quick glance in video. Love our vids.I match your romantic heart in the garden and crafting my sister. I do love those seed packets as well
Yes yes yes! Leave the sunflowers in!
Hey! Get harvest right freeze dry machine so you can move with your hard-worked food! You don't need to can.
My grandma grew pumpkin just to pickle them. https://germanfoods.org/recipes/sweet-sour-pickled-pumpkin/ I never knew pumpkin soup, etc. until it became popular in Germany.
I absolutely love watching your videos! 🙂 I dream of the day I can build my own little haven of a greenhouse! Here in Eastern North Dakota, we are A WAYS out from planting! My husband is originally from Mayflower, AR and my girls bio mom lives in Vilonia! Small world! <3 Thanks for sharing your beautiful space!
Every time you're out there in the late evening, Jess, and the lights come on, I wish I could just sit on a corner post and watch the day slip away into the night. I love to do that very thing in our space here, but as I'm sure you can relate, I'm very rarely still enough out there to do that often.
What is your favorite way to cook okra please message me I need to know
