VIDEO: Come Plant Shopping With Me

It’s a rainy day in the garden so I figured why not bring you all along for some plant shopping. I didn’t need that much stuff but I did want to pick up a few things. Let’s see what I can find.

  1. This is honestly the worst commentary. You’re supposed to be the best gardener and biggest producer of seeds in our state…. why aren’t you using your seeds instead of criticizing a local place??

  2. QUESTION!!! I watched your video about asparagus seeds. We dried the berries first not knowing your method. Can I still use the seeds? These seeds are from Last year.

  3. I live walking distance from that very greenhouse so I have shopped there often but now my daughter helps a friend at a younger place on Marine City Hwy. called Blue Ribbon Farms. I hope the MIgardener will take the time and check it out.

  4. I don't know. I started my radish in seed trays inside, and transplanted them out, and I had a bigger faster harvest than when I started from seed directly in the ground. The head start inside really improved my yield. That said I wouldn't buy a tray of radish seedlings. Seeds are much cheaper.

  5. Hello there hope u r fine . I have some issues with peach tree plz help me about that . My peach tree roots grows small potatoes like thing whats that and how i can get rid of that .

  6. I am trying to grow more from seed this year. I still buy seedlings, so this video was helpful in that it helped me learn about smart shopping at garden centres. Thank you.

  7. Hi, a question, I recently planted 4 trees into a soil. I just knew that I shouldn't fill the soil with fertilizers. Anyway, what should I do if my plants are surrounded with fertilizers and lots of water? their spacing is OK for the time being. great content! thank you

  8. Bought some crimson sweet watermelon plants and they already have grown out of control and taken up the entire bed within a month and are starting to flower. The watermelon plants definitely are good return plants for production.

  9. I really like this! I have some summer squash, that I was worried might be a bit leggy, because it is growing REALLY fast, but what you showed in the video is a little higher than mine. I had my seedlings outside about 2 1/2 to 3 hours today, and I am worried I may have sunburned my zinnia. The edges of the leaves are a little brown.
