  1. Hello! I live in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. We have harsh winters that can get to -52°C. We just got over our scorching temperatures and it's about 26°C right now.
I just planted a crab apple tree and a 3 in 1 apple tree in my backyard. I want to keep them short and manageable. Is it OK to prune them now or should I wait and do it in the spring?

    Thanks for your wonderful videos.

  2. This is a great video, thanks for sharing. I am particularly interested in your tree irrigation system, where to get it? could you please provide the information. Thank you!

  3. When did you plant these? They were still dormant and the trees in the background were leafless, but the video is dated May 9th, so I'm assuming it was filmed much earlier?

  4. We planted 3 (ok, 4. one was a 2 apple sapling twist) fruit trees this spring, this would have been good to know! I was worried one of the apple saplings didn't make it bc they didn't have much roots. It did finally leaf out earlier this month, I think giving it willow water helped regrow the roots.

Is it too late to do the pruning and whitewashing?

  5. I am looking to build this sort of backyard farm to self sustain source of vegetables and/or fruits. Considering southern midwest states, e.g. Tennessee. Anyone has suggestions?
    Great video.
    Love your dog !
