Self Sufficient Me is based on our small 3-acre property/homestead in SE Queensland Australia about 45kms north of Brisbane – the climate is subtropical (similar to Florida). I started Self Sufficient Me in 2011 as a blog website project where I document and write about backyard food growing, self-sufficiency, and urban farming in general. I love sharing my foodie and DIY adventures online so come along with me and let’s get into it! Cheers, Mark 🙂

  1. G'day Everyone, thanks for your support. Playing this back I can see the voice sync was a bit out – I will try to fix this by next week and hopefully improve the cam quality overall but I'm pretty happy with how the stream went it was nice interacting live with you all. For those watching this back after thanks also! Cheers 🙂

  2. Please put your videos on Odysee, Rumble and Bit Chute as well. Many people do not appreciate that free speech is being stifled here.

  3. I LOVE the logo! I get a lot out of your channel because Hardiness Zone 9a(North Central FL) is pretty close to where you are, and it is really unique here compared to the other zones I've grown in!

  4. Raising Quail, rabbits, bees. Self-sufficient in these things so self-sufficient in something. This means I am Cooperative with everyone. Just bought 10 acres in rural North Carolina United States. Don't know what to do yet, but but I have a local up there cutting my hay so will take a bit for the rabbits. I'm letting certain natural "weeds" grow to fodder, seeding out.

Forget about me, just do what you're doing. There was a cartoon character, "Underdog" his model was "humble but lovable." That is you from what I can tell.

  5. It’s amazing that a virus that isn’t that bad in the grand scheme of things can cause so much damage. It is proof that if a real nasty virus/plague similar to years ago popped up, we would literally collapse.

  6. I'm trying to make videos but I'm having a hard time because a lot of the things I'm talking about they don't want me talking about and they're censoring a lot of people that I know are talking about it as well.

  7. Thank you so much for all your videos. Up until the last two years I have been able to grow more than enough veggies and fruits to supply myself and neighbors, but we have turned into a victim of urban heat island. Fighting the rising temperatures and the massive building boom
