Love your video! I so get your feelings and emotions on the wonderful stuff you learn from your family's past. This maybe a long shot but, I hoping to get in touch with these people one day to learn more about my 2 great grandmothers, Thelma Brewer and Tinybell Jones. These people i came across there yt channel when i was just wanting some noise in the background as i was cleaning house, their channel is called Family Tree Nuts History & Genealogy Service. I have sub to them and started watching A LOT of their videos and it amazes me how they can find all this neat stuff about the past, and help others who are looking for their kin folks from the past. In 2006 we bought a home outside of Pittsburgh where both hubby and me grew up. Something drew me to this area! Did not know what until 2020 bored due to lock downs started working on hubbies family tree. I found that his 4th. Great grandfather was born on land right up the road from us! He lived there from 1790 to 1804 when he father took ill and they moved with relatives! He had received the land here by me for payment fighting in the Revolutionary War! One of the first inhabitants of Florence Pa! No wonder we were drawn here! There is Indian blood in his side of the family but I am still hunting for it!

Oh! Bald River Falls is one of my favorite places on earth. That drive is so beautiful in the fall. He was blessed to have owned that land. I am getting goosebumps as I watch this. It means a lot to me. I am in process of learning about one of my ancestors who was John Wilder who started the Light Brigade during the Civil War. He later became the Mayor of Chattanooga. I get chills just thinking about the fact that I carry this man’s DNA in me. He is a part of who I am. And his grandfather was at the Boston Tea Party. Both you and I come from some brave men who were leaders in their families and out there on the cutting edge of life during their time in History and it is my belief that since God knew the end from the beginning that He created us with the unique mix and patterns of DNA so that we would have the Character and thought process to live effectively in this, our moment in history. You and I both looked at the world years ago, and we saw the storm coming. I tried to convince my husband to move to a rural area to start a homestead in 1986. He sent me to a psychiatrist. I am serious. I tried to tell them that a time worse than the depression was coming and I needed to start working now to get the homestead up and running smoothly, before it started, so that we could be self reliant. They tried to convince me that I was crazy. But to this very day, every vision I have had, has come true. I was rarely right about the timeframe but I have always been right about the who, what and sometimes the where. We might get back to some parts of normal, but the hard times are not over. 2020 was just the warm up. But we have it inside of us to do what we need to do, to get us and our families through what ever else is coming. God made us just for this.
We have been in that area many times and my Mister is from Spruce Pine, NC. Cherokee is a beautiful area.

We live on my husband's homeplace which adjoins the paternal family homestead land. We also own the land from the materinal side of his dad's family. Such a joy and blessing to keep it in the family.
