  1. We moved 650 miles twice From Ohio to Iowa for my job and to retairment back home to Ohio.
You are talking on a very big job and hopefully it's worth it. If you leave the world will turn and you can't put the world on hold and expect lost and gains just expect you also will change , Hopefully you will enjoy the change of life.

  2. We’ve move several times, with kids, and we always cultivated the attitude that this was a “great new adventure,” which helped with all of it…a lot.

  3. Ever thought about your last week on the property maybe opening it up to roadtrip subscribers, and maybe just stay in a hotel for safety away from the property? Since you're moving away you probably feel ok about giving the location of this property on your last week and people can see it and know this is where you were …. next location you're going too No way! Lol and make sure nothing has your new address on it like boxes etc…

  4. I can’t wait to see you guys on your new property I’ve been watching you guys for years hopefully I can continue watching you for years to grow and encourage inspire us to work at any size land we have I live in town very small piece of property . I’m in my 70s everything is difficult at my age I’m not in the best of shape but you give me hope inspiration to keep working my little tiny garden and keeping me working on my little tiny piece of land it’s mine and it brings me joy

  5. This was such a beautiful place you made for you and your family I can only imagine how beautiful your new home will be you’re young enough and strong enough to do it and the willpower to do it you guys have learned so much on this property to get you ready for the next he won’t be overwhelmed you’ll be ready to go in there and do so much in such a short amount of time because you’ve learned the best way to do it hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy one of your followers for years thank you so much

  6. I haven’t been watching y’all very long and also didn’t realize until recently that y’all live in Vilonia. We lived in Vilonia about 9 years ago. We moved to Oklahoma (for work) and 3 months later the tornado hit and wiped out the subdivision we had lived in. I still have family there and Vilonia is an amazing little community to live in! We are right now in the process of moving back home to Arkansas. Further south though. God bless y’all and I pray y’all’s move is as easy as it can be. ❤️

  7. Thank you so much for your words. We're moving 2300 miles, but only pets. Our buyer wants our sheep and chickens so that makes it a lot easier. Good point about moving in Aug (we''re headed out around Aug 1) and driving through the night or early am to be done by the heat of the day…we're taking it slow though…6 days…
Oh also, someone told me if you're moving sheep or goats into a new area, there may be many people eager to breed with your animals for "new blood"…something to keep in mind.

  8. I have been working on moving our farm as well. Only 100 miles away lol So watching these videos and Jill's videos have been a bit of inspiration. We just culled 8 turkeys, 10 ducks 14 hens and 6 roosters to the freezer and now I will be making a lot of fowl meals lol

  9. I have such great heart strings being plucked for this time for you. We are retired AF and moved about 17 times in 25 years. I see all of the kitchen stuff still on the walls and in cupboards. In my heart I wish I could come help you just to give a little helping hands and heart experience. I know that is not an option so I'm praying for you. <3 You are doing a great job. This move will be pressing on all of your relationships. The ones closest to you will be the hardest. If you go look up deployments or PCSIng for military, it will give you some great tools to work through the rough times. The excitement overwhelms the stress until you get settled. It will hit in the weeks to months after you stop. <3 I bless you and your whole family through this major transition and journey. <3

  10. For your freezers, check the tag on back near the plug to see what the AMPs are or use a meter while plugged in. Buy a larger than required inverter that plugs into the 12v plug in the truck which will make 120v power. If moving several freezers run one for a few hours then switch to another to keep things good and cold. Don’t put dry ice in a closed freezer in will react and go hot and spoil everything!

  11. I just watched the flea beetle video from 2018. It's awesome (and I don't use that word lightly) to see the change your gardens have had since then <3
Best of luck on your families Move!

  12. I did this move last summer. I still have logistics problems due to supply chain. You need affirmation the mobile home has enough drivers & is delivering the last 3 months on time. You need a vet & family meds kit… and meet your neighbors even a fb locals group and let them brain source for you..the kids are at risk for not adjusting. Line up a neighbors meetup asap.

  13. Hey. Watch your channel and love so many of your ideas and philosophies regarding your farm. I live in A small town in northeast Mississippi and thought perhaps some of your back and forth you might be traveling near me and need a place to stop and rest and stretch and water your critters. If you are traveling on us hwy 72 enroute to your new home feel free to contact me on Facebook messenger and I’ll get my info to you.

  14. Wow, what an amazing support system you have and supportive subscribers. I learn so much from all of you. You walk the walk and talk the talk, your faith comes through in everything you do.

  15. Wondering why you would want to move out of Arkansas, to South Carolina? The Arkansas and Missouri states are considered to be the current safe zone mecca in the US that many preppers and military people are moving to in order to be able to weather the coming earth changes? South Carolina is nice, a lot of retirees move there, but there are a lot of nuclear facilities there also.
