TUCK ROCKS TOO !!!!! IN FACT !!!!!!! HE MAY ROCK THE HARDEST !!!!!!
Much Appreciated James
"2nd Tip, Stagger Our Plantings- 03:33" Should say 2:33.
When my cucumbers get to big i give them to my chickens, they love them.
More people should feed pets vegies and fruits! Cute
Nice! Doggie likes the cucumber ♡♡♡
If growing vertically perhaps air layering to get new roots could work??
I was wondering if possible to grow veggies in a basement in raised beds and how would the pollination work without insects? The same way you did it by hand or what do you think? Thanks
The Indian you tuber guy that farms out of pots in his backyard made up a recipe for a natural pesticide that works so good!
James, I’m growing 2x Costata Romanesco this year and been hand pollinating them, but all the zucchini eventually dried up and died. Not sure what went wrong. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!
Saw a video on the problem of squash vine borers, and this guy wraps the stem coming from the base of the plant, with strips of tin foil, wraps it from ground level to about 5+ inches above, making sure that no part of it is exposed, especially where it touches the ground. He said it works very well for him. He lives in Tennessee.
Thanks for the great advice in this video. I learned a few new things ("trap plant" blue hubbard squash, and burying the zucchini stem if squash vine borers have invaded!).
Great helpful video as always. How did you build the trellis or climbing frame for cucumbers please? It’s the one which looks like a wooden frame with a wire mesh. Thanks
how do you get your squash plants SO BIG?
Not in Alabama…we are blessed with two lifecycles
Hi James, I have a lot of ants on my zucchini plants, what should I do?
What do you do if you are trellising and don’t have a way to root past where the SVB has burrowed?
In NC, SVBs laying season goes all the way into mid-August. Hopefully that means I’m past it now. Out of four vines, I managed to get one zucchini so far this year. I hate the little jerks even worse than I hate squash bugs.
“Sometimes cutting away the bad things can lead to bigger harvests overall” – it’s not just gardening advice, it’s life advice.
Nice idea burying vine
We love seeing tuck!! Thanks for such an informative video. Can you do one on companion planting ?
I just love seeing you and espesialy Tuck.

Looks like Chapter 2 starts where Tip #3 actually begins, and Tip #2 starts around 02:34 !
THIS IS THE SECOND VIDEO THAT SAYS THE VINE BORERS DON'T CONTINUE WELL INTO SUMMER. THIS IS FALSE FOR MY GARDEN. I GET VINE BORERS WELL INTO SEPTEMBER. WHICH TENDS TO BE TOO LATE FOR FOR REPLANTING. ALSO SQUASH BEETLE ARE PROLIFIC. SOAPY WATER DOES HELP BUT NOT SUFFICIENT.
