  1. I have QUICKLY fell in love with your channel! To say I've binged videos this week is an understatement!
Love the reference to Jamerrill, I actually found your channel from a suggestion after a video of hers.

  2. Okay I'm rewatching this and I will tell you this I got this new solar pack thing and it's pretty freaking sturdy let me tell you and there's a flashlight strobe light and a bright light that the first light is in bright but you know what I mean. And it you can charge it in the wall and when you go camping you can use solar power or if you're out in your garden you can use your solar power

  3. What a nice video I’m about to get my excalibur hydrated too I’m so excited I don’t have a big garden but I dry lots of fruit thank you for teaching all about this good stuff

  4. Oh my gosh you remind me of myself. Life is on a super fast pace when harvesting a garden all season long and working full time. Some days I feel I can’t catch my breath there is so much to do. Why do we do it? We love our plants and gardens and all the surprises they give us. Life is good with our own home grown foods. I love watching you share your garden and harvesting and processing. My favourite is when you stop mid sentence in the garden and say “ Oh look the is a hummingbird.” You take everything in that is around you.

  5. Hi Becky I think you are doing an awesome job! Volunteers is a new term for me. My dehydrator is in overdrive thanks to you. Do you manage your garden on your own or does your husband help? My husband is the one that does the structural stuff and the more practical things. How about you?

  6. Just my opinion, but a central vac system is really worth the investment. My hose stays plugged in 24/7 and I use it probably three times a day (I have three kids lol) it’s a godsend

  7. When my son was a toddler he loved the green beans I pressure canned. When we ran out of them I gave him store canned beans. He wouldn't eat them and hasn't eaten any beans since. He's 45.

When he was in his 30s he tried eating a canned bean to see if he'd like it. He ended up standing over the sink, retching. No more green beans for him!

  8. (Pam here)…. Saw on another channel…you can freeze green beans without blanching, do not wash, just brush off dirt. Then take out to use wash and sauté or use. Can save mucho time. They said they had much better flavor and the closest to fresh tasting. IDK…worth a try?

  9. Do you plant everything in raised beds? I would appreciate a video on how to START A GARDEN or how you bargain your garden!!!and how you said to get the onions out and plant something else.

  10. You might find you are planting the onions too close together – ask me how I know! LOL! It's only recently that we have more room that I've been planting with larger spacing and we have had monsters! Husband complained that we don't get small ones for his pickled onion sessions! Good luck for next year – you have a super veg plot and you've done so well in such a short time. Many thanks for the useful vids. My husband also watches your cooking vids. We decided it is your enthusiasm and fantastic organisation skills that is encouraging us old fogeys! 😀
