Only 4 meat packing plants in the country owned by a small group of people who are trying to put the cattle ranchers out of business and force the beyond meats crap . Doing this lock down .Gates and company ( who are big invested in the fake meat ) have been buying up the farm land and the Chinese as well The beyond meats is trying to under cut the beef prices There are a few stores like Aldi that are trying to huck the fake meat where I live I'm not a big meat eater but I like beef the most My family were country people and our meals were always centered around meat as the main dish. We always had fresh or canned vegetables and fruit and sat down to supper as a family .We always had more than we needed and gave our produce to needy people who lived in town. There are always greedy people who will take advantage of your kindness ,but there are so many people who struggle Many people don't even have cooking skills and live out of cans and frozen junk meals. It is good to watch this lady because it helps to expand your survival skills and feed your family .
Hi Becky, yes prices are on the increase here in England too. I use paper towels but not very often. you are well organized. Thanks for sharing with us. xxx
Love a good thrift find.. can’t wait to they are all open again here in oz.
Yes! The pineapple sausages are delicious!! Also there is reusable garbage bags, where you can wash it out and use it again
I went “shopping” yesterday. I bought Brussels sprouts, 2 bundles of asparagus, 3 lettuce, 1 heavy whipping cream, 3 packs of beef tenderloin w/2 small steaks each, 3 club sodas and a 12 pack of la croix water. It was $165.00. It all fit into one large bag. Prep up people! Things are skyrocketing, if you can even find most things.
Watching this just now and it’s probably too late, but that looks like baking soda, not washing soda.
Can you do an episode about your coleslaw that we saw in your pantry tour? Loving all your content!
September 2021..I bet you believe the food prices now! Yikes…everything is sky high. Buying a hog is a great way to save money, I think. Haven't done it in awhile. I used to buy half a cow, but haven't done that in a bit either. I need to find a co-op
I have replaced my sponge/paper towel habit with Swedish Dishcloths. They are OMG amazing. Feel like paper towels and work like sponges but they are completely washable in the dishwasher or washer and biodegradable. One lasts up to 6 months.
The ONLY thing I use paper towels on anymore is cat messes.
Hi Bex ( sorry lazy Britisher) my husband and I are retiring soon and moving to our place in the country to start our ‘homestead’. I am intending setting up a YT channel and taking my viewers with me along the journey. I am so excited. You are very inspirational and motivating. Just so you know xx keep up the good work.
Becky, if you have never had tableware with gold trim before, be advised that the gold may wash off if you put them in the dishwasher. It will not all come off with the first wash, but the dishwasher will gradually remove it over time.
I love watching your videos, and would love to have 1/2 the energy you’ve got!!!
Slow down. Talking too fast. I went past my favorite flower garden shop and they raised their pumpkins a whole dollar. $5 last year and $6 this year. I think that’s ridiculous
🙁 in Hungary if you wanna buy good quality chicken breast, it costs 15 usd/ kg.
Do you ever get tired?
Love Viva, and love thrifting.
awesome hauls love your videos you inspire me.
My husband is the same way with the paper towels. I prefer to use a cloth towel. I should make a towel drawer so I can use less paper.
I bought microfiber clothes and saved alot of money and trees.
In my area $3 lb for organic chicken is very cheap, it runs around $6 here
Where did you get the chicken?
WOW! You found some gems at Goodwill. I need to check mine out. I have never seen canning jars before. Thanks for sharing your hauls with us. I'm looking forward to catching your freezer meal session.
I don’t like the green trash bags from the grove
I am so jealous of your Goodwill hauls!!! Jars cost 99 cents here and never come in a box. You, my friend hit the jackpot! Love your videos!
