I’m finally home after two full weeks of being gone! Being gone for two weeks in August is not the best time to be gone due to it being full-on harvest season! It doesn’t seem like skipping a beat!

Just followed! I live south of Portland so we basically have the same weather! Jealous of your huge, beautiful garden!
You said that you have Dragon Tongue beans on your trellis. Dragon Tongue are a bush variety. I'd say that you have more like the Rattlesnake variety.
I need to know the color on your nails! Please it is gorgeous!
Can I ask? What should I put or give my strawberry plants so that they bear fruits? Its been like more than 5 months since I planted them and I already have a lot of runners.. So if you have any advice or suggestions, I'll gladly take it. Thank you. ❤️
So…I just started watching you so forgive me if I missed something. This garden is only 2 years old!!!???? If so, that's amazing!
Wow!!! You have lots to do , Becky thanks for teaching me , I try not missing none of your videos.
You use six it’s to it the peppers of your plant
That grass weed at least here in aus i call star grass. Its horrible! But relativelive easy to take out but you gotta do it before it goes to seed cause damn but because it soread out in all directions like a star it looks like its covered in weeds but there might only be like 7 in a bed but yeah they take up a basketball to tire size area spread out.
Yep not only do i have better luck starting from seed in ground (its also WAY cheaper) & i have a lot of luck letting the plants do what they want aka fall where they may and letting them self seed than i do seeding them myself. And so when something volunteers to be somewhere with zero help from me i let it live there cause the best garden is one that naturally wants to be that way i want to listen to nature not force it to my will so companion planting ties into that and so does regenerative agricultural and permaculture systems but yeah dont fight mother earth you wont win! Haha.
Always keep a basket at the door and take it out with you, there is always something to pick
I'm with Leroy..I find you so relaxing to watch and listen to..I really enjoy your down to earthiness and just wanted to let you know in case u didn't know, you can EAT loofah gourds when they are 5-6 inches big and they are quite delightful…Ive heard many people think they have to be let to grow to full size and dried and are unaware they are very yummy when picked as small as say an okra
You should cover crop and then mow it down then put a tarp on it it brings neutral weed control and natural fertilizer.
Talk slower
Just a suggestion, try the metal zip ties. I used them to install a fence “temporarily” and it is still doing fine.
Yummy
Are you doing a type of square foot gardening? We did it a few years ago and will probably be doing it again.
I love walking/touring through gardens! I use to have a big garden & loved it. For me the hardest part was only buying what I could find room for. Flowers, herbs, vegetables, grapes, cherry trees I inherited, but oh my, like a kid in a candy store! Lol. Being able to go out and pick a variety from your own garden is the best feeling. Although being able to give an abundance to fa.ily and friends is awesome too. Love your videos. Have a blessed day
We use bailing wire to hang our cattle panels, works alright. We do live in New Mexico, so rust maybe a problem for you.
Do you use regular treated wood for your garden beds? If so how to you like?
For fruit you have to thin out the fruit before gets big .. thinning fruit is very important for the tree and for the fruit to grow.
This is the life I want to live,
What does "volunteer" plant mean?
Hello, what type of pesticides do you use for pests control?
Hun the main thing with some of this is a lack of water, your corn needs water badly. If you want to know more about chives being a gardeners best friend. Yes you will have tons of chives but you can dry it and use them in your spice cabinet and give it away. I just see so much leaf damage and it’s bugs.
What app do you used to control you water irrigation?
