We have loads of basil, dill, parsley, bok choy, lettuce…all growing beautifully in the vertical hydroponic tower. I had to adjust the lighting so one light is above the tower, and another is above the plants at the floor level. So far, so good!

Maybe side lighting would be optimal for the tower? Blessings..
The only time I have seen Bok Choi is in the Supermarket and it was at least Cricket Ball sized with things out of the top. Are your Grow Cups that big? A Cricket Ball btw will fit into the palm of a mans hand.
🙂 I am distinctly of the opinion that you need more Basil :-).
Love this video. Can't wait to see what grows next. Good luck with the tomato growing showdown. ❤️
I now want to get an indoor grow room. I appreciate your creativity.
Good
Tomatoes, peppers, and other fruit bearing plants require more light that leafy greens and will get "leggy" if too far from the grow lamp. There are small, flat panel LED grow lamps roughly 10" square in the 20-40 watt range that could be oriented vertically and would work as side lighting.
Great update!
Thank you for showing how to make the most out of all that space in your grow tent. A couple smaller lights is a great idea!
Great content Tikki; I am curious if you have a list of seeds you feel would do well indoors for growing food? Tiny Tim Tomatoes are an obvious one but other seeds I've tried have all grown out of control. Any good other seeds to use indoor grows? 🙂
