my dragon fruit hasn't been grow for the past year or so and i have like 40 dragonfruits in 1 pot that is 11 inches. should i get another pot and replant 4 or 5 of them? and what soil you recommend? i been using the cactus soil.
I see the same thing with basil, selling 1-2 dozen individual basil plants in a single small pot for like 5 bucks at grocery stores and nurseries. makes them look more appealing to market as babies i guess, but you're gonna miss out on a LOT of basil if you dont split them up
I do the same for herbs but at a grocery store where I can get some of the herbs all year long. I have tried doing the same with the hydroponically grown herbs without much success so if anyone has had success please let me know how you do your herbs.
Can i ask how do you plant or grow citronella seeds? Because i don't want to waste my citronella seeds i only have limited seeds so i am asking for your help thank you
Hey hey I did this to one of my plants and they died two days later . I garden and was quite shocked as it never happened before. Does anybody maybe know what might have gone wrong?
i had a question and i hope anyone has some good advice for me. i’m building a raised bed out of wood and i’m planning on putting cardboard at the bottom and then just fill it with those bags of soil you can buy at nurseries and stuff, but i’m planning to put it on a location where i have like this stone path rn, should i remove the tiles or just put it on top? i will be quite a bit off the ground. like 30 maybe 40 centimeters. that’s somewhere between 10 to 15 inches i think. but what would you guys do? and why?
Good idea! I do this with grocery store herbs too. Walmart and Meijer both sell live potted herbs. There are too many in those pots and can be separated.
Does this work with a parlour palm too?

Always scared to pull them apart and kill then
Spread them, wet them, tease them, plantable
Love how you did it. Thank you
my 3 inch leek container from the nursey held nearly 100 leeks, and the damn near all made it once seperated
Do people really not know that?!?!

Are you doing a black Friday sale?

This is true for common house plants too, I always check to see if the pot is full because that usually means more plants
I'm guessing if you separate them they'll grow better individually?
Nice
