VIDEO: Let’s Take a STUNNING Swiss chard Tour
We are growing lots of swiss chard in the garden. Swiss chard is one of my favorite crops to grow because of how stunning it is.
a single pack of Rainbow Chard provides a lot of attractive filler in the flower borders
Luke, would using predatory wasps a second year in a row make a longer term dent in the leaf miner population?
Slugs or other pest ate all my Swiss chards I transplanted
Do you direct sow or transplant starts?
I love my Swiss Chard but hate the leaf miners, haven’t ever really gotten control of them…My Swiss Chard also gets powdery mildew and this is a major problem as well! Any advice?
They are beautiful!
Live Swiss Chard! Please carry that orange stalk purple leaf variety!
I agree with you on your statement about chard. They are one of the prettiest garden veggies around. However I find a tomato and squash full of fruit beautiful too. I also love the look of my asparagus in the summer too. They almost look like they can be used as a privacy hedge.
Agree on the Chard! Love the stuff been growing it for years
Those varieties are WOW. ok but important question — if the predatory wasps aren’t a good solution for leaf miners in a small home chard plot, what is??! they decimated my chards this year and I really want to have a solution ready for next year.
Hands down, the red leaf and orange stem. Loved the tour. I have Chard in my garden year round. It's so much easier than spinach.
Excellent!!
Such a beautiful crop, sometimes I hate to harvest them.
I’ve got a patch of yellow Swiss chard that I planted in Autumn 2018. It keeps growing back no matter how many times I trim the leaves off. Buy once buy right!
It's nice when people talk about things they're passionate about. Most people i know aren't into gardening and don't get it. Im growing the rainbow lights kind of swiss chard. I have a yellow one, a red one and the standard. Planted more seeds to see what I get
Another great video. Enjoy all your content.
Rainbow Lights chard is so beautiful and tasty! My favorite ever.
Good stuff! Think you convinced me to dedicate a small bed to chard, just gotta position as to not get too much sun here in East TN.
Do you have puslean seeds?
You've inspired me to give this another try! Any idea when the seeds will be available on your site?
Have you looked at the roots, they have the same colour as the stems.
Boop.
Okra can be pretty, as far as edible plants go… and as far as pests go, for anything I actually care about, I always plant 3-4 varieties of each species, as I find pests are drawn to one more than the rest, so then end up becoming sacrificial.
