Actually, homesteading needs a voice that reflects the variety of people gravitating to that life choice. The homesteader has been painted as a "rifle wielding, prepping, doomsday lunatic" but the truth and reality is that many people are becoming more enlightened about their responsibility to their family and to the planet, and they are escaping the grip of corporate/industrial farming through homesteading. Good for all who are brave enough to take that leap.
As I watch you lot from the uk it's great to how you homestead do it glad I've been watching you lot for few years Justin Meg & Ben there couple more I watch too scatter around aswell surprised Jason sow the land wasn't there with u guys ope u had great thanks given we don't celebrate like u it just harvest for us ……take care troy

Not sure which show and which channel I caught pictures of your closest town, vision of in-town possibilities, and the announcement of the up coming event……have you followed the original stories of Sturgis, SD; from before 250K-500K extra people decended for a week or few? I certainly see the potential for RV's parked in individual's driveways and more; and with it an influx of outside cash. And, so so much more depending upon how receptive the towns people and property owners are.

I use to be the kind of person who has a difficult time with change and i lovee how you teach us these very important life lessons with so much grace! I'm so thankfull for you guys sindce you inspired me to make my waitingroom into a classroom. This summer i started my own garden. I grew alot of diferent variety's indoor on my balcony.
It was the best diccision ever!

Life is as beautiful as you want to make it. Yes the beauty in looking after land and animals might be different from what most are used to, but both you and Justin have captured not only that, but also the magic that is hidden in the 'mundane' tasks of life. When you see it captured in both shows you realise it is missing from a lot of lives today. Blessed right back xxx

Good golly I would have been totally starstruck meeting Rory Feek. I was a huge fan of he and Joey together and her death ripped my soul apart. He’s such an inspiration. Cannot wait to hear more about this weekend!

Jess, once again, you guys have encouraged Michael and I. I'm currently facing physical challenges again and have not been able to send out 'Nancy's black irises as promised, but I'm still standing on the promise of Jesus and what he took at Calvary….but will get them to you as soon as I can.
Still learning as we prepare for the land God has promised so that we can steward it better than I ever dreamed.

I love this video. So fun. I giggled right along with you at moments and the friendships which are such a blessing.
My dream is to become a homesteader but my new husband came from a 900 acre dairy farm from up state New York. That being said he's not about to be tied down to that again but we do a little gardening and he love his flower beds. Love be able to take the journey with yal"ll.
