wow , grow your own coffee !!!! very cool update. I hope you start a coffee "thing" in america.
That’s amazing! Thank you for sharing that and yes please do I would love to see a roasting video happy holidays!
I love it, Luke! I bring a poinsettia outside every summer..it's going on it's fourth year and getting big..always flowers around now. There's something exciting about owning a tropical plant in a cold climate.
Hadir kawan selamat malam
I'll have to go back and check out the earlier videos, so cool! do you have to give it any extra light in the winter?
This is so cool beans! I was wondering what those flowers smell like! Its so nice to have a helper who can see underneath!
The follow-up videos sound fun and informative. Thank you for the video Luke! Happy holidays!
oh wow. How did you get your plant? What variety is it?
I love to try growing a coffee plant myself. Any tips on how to do this? Or is it on your website/YouTube channel somewhere? Im in Atlanta Georgia, and Winters here are not too severe but presumably will need to start growing indoors.
This is really cool. Gonna have to check out the grow guide. I got some arabica coffee seeds but haven't started them yet.
That’s amazing! I didn’t know you could grow coffee in your house. Would you cut back the 2 year old branches after fruiting to make way for new branches or does it keep fruiting on over 1 year old branches?
OMG, where do I buy a coffee tree??
Excellent! Looks like a very happy tree!
That is super cool. Do you have to trim the tree so it doesn’t get too tall?
Wow! Exciting.
Over the summer I got 12 Coffea arabica plants from seed out of two, 4" pots, $4 ea, from the grocery store! Been following this series with great anticipation for this year!
Your tree looks amazing! Thanks for showing us the progress. I'd love to see anything more you want to show us!
I have a question, a few of my plants are lightening in color on the newer leaves. They're still quite small, between 6-12 pairs of leaves so far. On a few of the plants, the newest pair of leaves are lightening to a uniform limey green. Do you know what nutrient that could be? I can upload a video if need be
They're just potted in a basic mix of coco coir, bark chips, sphagnum moss, horticultural perlite, mycelium Happy Frog dry fertilizer, with a pinch of Osmocote.
I just fed them with a bit of 20/20/20 water soluble fertilizer today. I keep them under grow lights, 16 on/8 off
Do you have a link to the volcanic rock mix you used for your last potting? Soluble iron maybe? Calmag?
God bless you and yours, and Merry Christmas!
Me and the wife were wondering how the tree was doing. Congrats and thanks for the info.
Wow, that is really great! My seeds never sprouted, and I don't know why, but I will order more and try again.
id like to know- WERE there 191 coffee berries or was she even close?
I've had mine growing for 6-7 years. I have never taken them outside, just keep them in south facing windows and prune them back when they get too big and let them put out new growth. A fun plant to grown inside.
This is so much fun! I might have to try this.
I have thought about getting a coffee plant. I will have to add coffee seed to my order.
Maybe show after processing? Great video!
does coffee require a pollinator, and do you have a source for purchasing seedlings or raw seed?
Yes! Coffee update videos please! ☕️ Thank you so much for your awesome videos!
Ordered arabica seeds from you guys! Can't wait to get growing!
Nice job, Luke!! Congratulations on your coffee harvest—so exciting!!
