-10 on my covered, somewhat sheltered deck here in central (?) Vancouver Island. It's unbelievably cold for the birds. The snow however (keeps dumping) is SO LIGHT!!!! Wish it was like this all the time. I am happy ordering wayy too many seeds online now that it feels like we have to hibernate ๐
I'm at work and I feel like I'm misbehaving watching at work… Retail is so so slow. I can't wait to plant
-30 here in Saskatchewan going down to -40 some thing.
How do you plan your bouquets?
OSC SEEDS Canada has 3 colors of clover and alfalfa
One degree C here in Ontario.
Watching from unseasonably warm & somewhat sunny Southwest Missouri.
Looking forward to seeing
your bulbs in bloom.
The sentence you can live in the moment when you make the bouquets but you can't live in the moment when you plant the plants just sums up it all thankyou
Iโd love to see a break down of the flower seeds from Johnnys!
I would love a bouquet tutorial, regardless if you guys buy the flowers or not.
How long do the procut sunflowers last when cut?
Have you ordered from Stems/ Edgebrook Flower Farm (Canadian Company)? Just received my order and it looks great. Similar colours to Floret but CAD$$
<le sigh> I looove blue delphiniums. Great idea on the blue/periwinkle trends!
I love your channel, but I mean this in the best possible way but how about some editing, and make shorter videos aim for 15 minutes max? I ( and many with me) generally dont watch long videos on YT. This was a interesting theme, so I used the slider in the video, so that I could look through it quick in 10 minutes wish you a fruitful New growing season and a . Happy New year
Talking about vase life, In my rural area most people use water softeners with salt. That shortens the vase life. I buy distilled for my bouquets and get at least 7 days. Others that use tap water are lucky to get 4. 2 miles away have city water but they still only get about 4 days. I am home gardener that just gives bouquets to family and friends. So the quality of the water has much to do with vase life.
I love catnip as a cut flower. However, I would advise not putting catnip with lilies or tulips. Both of these flowers even just licking the pollen if it falls onto the cat or ingesting a leaf can cause severe renal failure and be fatal within days
Just an amateur here… I found that cosmos made an awesome filler in summer bouquets!
id like to do that here in nova scotia ๐ for hobby grow them for my wife ๐
