Self Sufficient Me is based on our small 3-acre property/homestead in SE Queensland Australia about 45kms north of Brisbane – the climate is subtropical (similar to Florida). I started Self Sufficient Me in 2011 as a blog website project where I document and write about backyard food growing, self-sufficiency, and urban farming in general. I love sharing my foodie and DIY adventures online so come along with me and let’s get into it! Cheers, Mark 🙂 #storage #DIY #box

your previous haircut was better to be honest.. with all respect
Brilliant!
Looks like you’ve got extra room. Time to go buy more wire.
Ducks need to imprint…when hatched put them on the lawn and let the follow you! They will follow you forever and do whatever you ask. They need a mom! You are their mom!
I really like the sink you have in the video could you tell me about it please
I just zip tie the rolls of mesh onto my garage roof supports. Cost's me at most £1 a year for ties (the single use ones are reusable with a little faff).
You could use the stainless steel cable ties.
Clever!
Good multipurpose off your drying bins and fencings.
Had no idea about the online forum! I'll be checking that out
Good idea….
@Self Sufficient Me
Do you grow bamboo?
If not, are you not allowed too, or do you just choose not to grow them?
Thnx Mark, great ideas come out of necessity. Nice hair.
I have never actually bought wire but our farm is full of it. We take at least three trailer loads to the scrap depot a year. I swear the stuff breeds.
Yeah Mark!
You rock. Nice job. God bless y’all.
Cable ties curl around a number of times before locking in
How about an old dog crate?
Or zip tie three pallets on end stacked against each other. Mine is pretty stable. I put hooks on it to hang things on also
Hi Mark From Self Sufficient Me. Will this design help store an unwanted mother in law?
That is a great ideea. I have a bunch of mesh that I try to store in the basement using a shelf, stacked horizontally. Would be easier to access if stored vertically. I would use some bolts to keep those together as I have not seen those types of ties is my country. Thank you for sharing.
Cable Ties mate,gotta love em..cheers…
Great idea!
Ha ha classic … Moran … I haven’t heard that for years xxx love watching you … good on ya mate!
