  1. I grew up in a Zone 2, moved to a Zone 5 and have been transferred for work to a Zone 10! I'm very excited for all the growing possibilities in my new home, but I'm thankful you have a cool climate gardener on your team for your fans up in the North.

  2. I picked up that Center Cut Squash from Row 7, they have some awesome seeds. Also picked up the Queen of Malinalco Tomatillo and I'm excited to give it a go. On my list now, thanks to this, are the Broccoli Spigariellio and the Bietola De Costa Fine. Thanks for sharing

  3. loved chris' segment! does she have her own channel? i follow other gardeners that live in the snow but I love epic gardening cause I also am in ca and I am finding it really is a different thing altogether to garden here

  4. I would like to see a whole show on perennial vegetables for Pacific North West. Won’t mind a short segment on winter squash varieties.I grow them every year as they keep. All the way to May. I have just discovered an amazing variety called “Grey Ghost”.

  5. I always wanted to start a garden; but I'm scared of diseases or getting sick from something I made because I feel like I'll never know enough. Any advice to overcome the fear?

  6. I'm in the same hardness zone as Kevin, but in Australia. So I have 6 months to do my research and seed sourcing. I'm very interested in some of these tomato varieties. I wonder if any of these companies ship internationally? I brought my seeds early for this season so I was all set to go. And already have some in my stash for next Spring.

  7. I got the Okinawan Sweet Potato last year and harvested them for the first time earlier this year. It's sweet but not as good as the Korean or Japanese sweet potato you get from the Asian grocery store. The ones that are purple/maroon on the outside and with the white-cream flesh inside.

  8. Hi Kevin! What an amazing video. I've been following you from France for a while now. Chris sounds like a great addition. I know BC well and I'm interested in seeing what she grows and how she grows it in her West Canadian "context".
Since we're talking about seeds and rare varieties, I have a question for you all: do you happen to know of a company / brand that sells true potato seeds for gardeners? I mean like a "large" brand? I found a bunch of small sellers online, but if I buy a packet of TPS, I want to be sure I'm buying something that has been properly harvested, processed and stored.
Anyway, thanks for the great channel.
