  1. I'm starting my new garden at our new property. Starting all over with new beds after leaving well-established beds makes me sort of sad and excited for new beginnings and a clean redo/redesign. I'm probably going to do some wood beds and some metal beds like before. What wood did you use for your beds?

  2. I have always struggled with getting onion seeds to germinate. I finally got them going this year by using the same method you did. I found someone last year (don't remember who) that suggested using onions / alliums and potatoes on the edges of gardens to help keep pests out of the garden. From bugs, to vermin and even cats. I had fewer pest problems in the beds ringed by either of those two crops last year. Where as parts of the garden with the same crops not surrounded by them were munched by bunnies and other critters.

  3. Your Walla Walla onion starts look great! They're the best. When you get your grill, Walla Walla's are delicious grilled. So sweet! Onions are heavy feeders.

  4. Hi Becky, my garden is growing thanks to you!I LOVE your channel! I have looked through comments and the provided links, I do not see where you purchased your Walla Walla onions from. Did I miss it? Do you have a grower in Washington you would recommend for my purchase?

  5. Please try roasting your radishes until soft in the oven with a little olive oil and salt. Smokey paprika is amazing too. I cant tell you how many fam has ate this last year since discovery this. I hope you get to read this ❤

  6. I use organic chicken poo for fertilizer. Used to buy cow manure years ago but found that store-bought manure is sketchy. And the organic chicken poo is easier to use too.

  7. Good for you Becky! Making it a goal to eat more greens! Yes! I've always loved greens. In fact, just harvested some Spring dandelion greens today . Some I use fresh, some freeze, and some dehydrate and powder to add to dishes. I love ALL greens. My mom raised me right on that I guess lol

  8. I've heard you can roast radish, similar to roasting potato, and I have some coming up that I'm going to try that way. It's an experiment to see if we like them that way.

  9. I'm so excited to see your garden grow this season. Last season was so enjoyable to watch. Thank you for what you do on your channel. Truely I appreciate you and the knowledge you have shared.

  10. Curious if this large garden is cost effective? Even as a hobby seems like
It’s too expensive would a smaller garden be better for learning & caring
For rather than a scattered approach?

  11. Radishes are very good on a sheet pan with brussel sprouts, carrots and purple fingerling potatoes with olive oil and salt and pepper. Super yummy! Great planting video, Hun.
I was just able to plant lettuce seeds that need cold stratified for germination. Found some garlic I forgot or thought they had been eaten. So exciting! My last frost date is May 25th! I have 3 whole shelves of growing seedlings! I can hardly wait. This year my onions have failed so I can not plant the couple hundred I need. Oh well. I will get sets.
