How do the leaves taste?
i believe you should try and grow canibis it would be fun intertaining and educational if you dont like that much of a chalenge then go with auto flower and if you do like a chalenge get some dif seeds
I cook them in the oven with some bacon. Doesn't need anything else. They crisp up so nicely.
You may have answered this in the video, but can you eat the leaves?
Perfect timing on this video. Guess I need to top mine to get those Brussels to start sprouting
Bt does not “make them feel full”, it is a bacteria that releases a toxin that breaks down the digestive tract of an insect.
Growing Brussels for the first time rn! 🙂
My cat is sitting on my shoulder watching you. She’s mesmerized.
But but but I always steam my Brussels sprouts, no disrespect 😉
Sautéed with bacon, a little dill weed and a little garlic powder. ::chef’s kiss::!
You may need to sharpen your machete. They are often sold dull. A good file for metal the first time and standard sharpening equipment thereafter does the trick.
I like mine with salt, butter and fresh squeezed lime juice. Do it! You won't be sorry.
Small Brussels sprouts are delicious, big behemoths are terrible.
Salt, pepper, lemon juice, oil. Air fry 5-7 minutes. Brussel fries for the win.
Pests are slugs in colder zones 🙂 & cheers from Brussels 😀
I think you’ve convinced me to try Brussels sprouts again. I’ve only ever had them steamed 90’s style! And I love brassicas.
Beautiful plants!
Can you not grow in a raised bed to help cut back on pest and or diseases?
Any tips for a brussel sprout plant that isn't growing? I put the transplant in the ground about a month ago. No new leaves and no height. We did have a couple freezes around 30 degrees…are they stunted maybe? Is that too cold? They are also a 90 day dwarf variety
I was LITERALLY just thinking about today about what seeds I'm gonna start this week, and brussel sprouts were one of the ones I've never tried before that I was considering! Impeccable timing as always, Kevin!
i once heard a recommendation to use thinly sliced raw brussels in salads and stuff. hm…
Can you eat the larger leaves also?
I love brussel sprouts!! have never been successful growing them though…They are $16kilo (1000 grams) in Sydney Australia at the moment! Im going2 attempt to grow them again now.
The leaves look like Kale. Can they be eaten as well?
