Preach it sister! Through the negative, your giving someone positivity in preparing!
The people who think the dear that killed deer all the time for food is up of it. They lied to us everyday I am fed up with their lies. Amen, please be careful when you go out.
The only thing I do is instead of buying stuff in cans I buy stuff in jars so I can reuse them.
Most people don't know what work is anymore. As a friend and I say draw in crayon for me.
To quote Sarah Connor from the first Terminator film "there's a storm coming"
Get tough like Sarah!!!
Inflation of 8.5% is correct ……………….. per month.
Today I went to Wal Mart in Bakersfield California with my Brother, standing in front of almost empty pasta shelfs, I said you need to put some up for later, he said are you trying to get me ran out of the store? People are all so different we never know what others are thinking. I spoke the truth to my Brother, mabe it will get him to thinking? Been working, have put up almost 4 shelves of food and supplies. Thank You for Waking me up. Betty from Bakersfield California
The Folgers coffee last year was 6.96 and today the same coffee costs 10.24.
Inflation = 100%
its more like 18%
You were created for such a time as these. Keep speaking the truth
Buy some Gold & Silver, if you can get your hands on some. Having some stored purchasing power socked away is going to be important in the future.
Eggs are at $8.07 at Sam's for a 36 count and chicken breast are at $4.99 a pound here in Amarillo Tx
That feller that is going to just go to the mountains and shoot him a deer, just might get himself shot and put in a hole somewhere. They just don't understand what people will do to protect and feed their youngins.
I bid 12 percent , I bid 17 percent ,I bid 29 percent ,I bid 56 percent ,I bid 500 percent , sold to bidder #1 for 19,000 percent over cost
Every family is different. I have cats, some are special needs ,a dog and my hf autistic son. Stock for all of them and including pet meds are my first priority to stock !!
8.5% decimal point needs removed 85%
You are right on about all of it, Patara. Every bit of it.
FEMA had a preparedness warning about THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE looking at the behavior and mental state of the UNprepared around us I'd say they knew the outcome of their programs even while the media all laughed and told us to do the same.
I was watching a video where a prepper was saying he was going to be a trapper during SHTF. How many trappers are going to be in Ohio during SHTF? You'll probably get your foot in a trap if you bug out with all those traps out in the woods, lol
I finally got to my local Dollar Tree store and got some of their "4 for $1" seeds. Among the packets I got was carrots. Since I'm only feeding myself, and will probably supplement from the grocery store, I believe that that one packet should suffice for this year.
But what about next year, and the following year. From what you are seeing do you think that there will be seeds available next year? Should I not worry, or should I get 5 more packets of carrot seeds? I also find it interesting that the Dollar Tree seeds are 25 cents per packet, but the Walmart seeds are $2.19 each packet. What gives there? I wonder if there is a quantity difference in each packet that accounts for the price difference.
Also, watch for price differences within different stores of the same company. One of my local Kroger stores changed their prices a few months back for a 7 oz stick of pepperoni from $4.99 each to $7.99 each – a 60% increase – but another Kroger store still has the same brand of pepperoni stick at $4.99 each. And the first Kroger stores has their donuts at $1.50 each, but the second Kroger has them at $0.89 each. That's an example of just two items, but now I have to keep track of which items I am to buy at the first store and which to buy at the second store, and they are only 3-4 miles apart from each other. Grrr!!!
I appreciate your honesty!!!
A few months ago, I decided I better stock up for the next crisis. I'm so glad I did. At this point, I feel like the inflation is happening because those who set the prices are being given the green light to jack up prices and cry inflation. Our tax dollars aren't enough for the goons anymore.
You are 100 percent right T. Just heard that the wheat crop this year in the heartland, due to the drought, will be around 30 percent!!! 30 PERCENT! We are in for a bumpy ride…fasten your seat belts kids. The canned foods we are eating now were produced LAST YEAR! Wait til you see how little will be available from this years crops in the fall and winter of 2022/23.
Cordial : I usually bought it for £1.60. Now £3.50.
