Hi Patara. Great advice again. Great haul! Happy Easter! Be well.
Great stuff!!! Love the idea of a slow regular build up of basic things to have on hand. Keep up the great work!!!
Heads up, those hams y'all..3 for 9 bucks at WALGREENS. The brand is different, but trust me, it's the same stuff inside. You can get them for less, if you use your Walgreens bucks, or points what ever they call them now.
I was hoping to find more manwich at the DG before it jumped in price.
Unfortunately it jumped a quarter since the Saturday before.
Thank you Ma’am.
Love, love, love your accent! I grew up in the Appalachian mountains!
Thank you for this!!! My $General just reopened after a remodel so I checked it out. Holey Moley!!! Way better than the used to be a dollar store. I spent 50 bucks, but walked out with bags of substantial nutrition for the pantry. Things I haven't seen anywhere else in weeks! A ton of the items were only a dollar!!! One dollar!! Happy day!
Great video and lots of inspiration! I stock up a few items every week. We have Dollarama and dollar tree here. Wish we had a DG.
I was on formula (recipe) that the hospital gave my mother. About 30 years later when my niece was screaming because all the supermarket formulas was giving her a bellyache in the middle of the night my mother dug out the recipe from her keepsake drawer and helped my sister-in-law make the formula. (My mother kept the formula because the other side of the paper listed my birthdate, birth-weight, and length.). The recipe was (Carnation) evaporated whole milk, (Karo) white corn syrup and water. I don't remember the measurements. Maybe someone reading this remembers and can comment back. This homemade formula may not be as complicated as commercial formula but it will feed a hungry baby. I am sixty five and my niece is thirty and we both survived. (They had Vitamin A,B,C drops for babies when I was a baby so the mother may need to find another way to get vitamins for baby.)
I've tried the cucumber watermelon Flow water. They were free from Whole Foods with an Ibotta offer. Not terrible! I'd definitely use them in an emergency.
$3.40 for the little ham? Walmart had Goya over $5. I hesitated, but got one anyway. They sell out fast.
We recently wintered in Texas, we live in Illinois, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar are under the same roof there. Savvy marketing on their part.
My family's favorite meatless breakfast is malt o meal, we have almost 25 pounds put away likely getting more and this still will last.a long time, I love shopping at Kroger, Walmart n Sams Club, I do buy some things at dollar twenty five tree too bc some things are still cheaper to get there than DG but I have dropped of getting some things there that are cheaper at DG.
hmmmm…cream cheese with the Mississippi Pot Roast? Gotta try it!!!
Good vids lady! Keep it up!
when did you post video????
Got 1st grand daughter coming in August . Little mama plans on nursing BUT I have been picking up can milk often just in case. Next step got to search for homemade formula recipes again back up to the backup.
One great thing about where we live, we get pinto and black beans in bulk beans. Today they finally got a new shipment and they were $.75 per lb. Got 10 pounds of each. Got 10 pounds of green cabbage for $.20 per lb from the field they was picking and have dehydrator going (it makes a great snack and really good in soup).
Yah I don't even bother to drive farther to 5 quarters store. Dg has my back right now. With clearance finds couponings and dollar isle finds
I invested in cloth napkins, and handkerchiefs.
Can you store some of this in a shed… I have limited space in my small house?
It all adds up!!
xxoo
Are you born-again ??
A large pack of bounty toilet paper is 32 bucks in our area.
Where do you keep your canned goods?
please advise what date video on vacuum sealing in jars. If you've not done a video, please advise one you recommend. Thank you. Does it require a special machine?
Got peaches & pears for me!!! No Chicken at Aldi or eggs if you wanted to buy pork or beef it is taken to the carter do go with you then no carts with meat in them!!!
You turned me on to Dollar General. I am going there daily now. Thank you!!
