I planted Trucker's Favorite this year for the first time to grind. Also am trying Martian's Jewel variety of corn which can be picked for eating at right stage or left to dry. Supposed to have a bigger window to pick fresh–we'll see. I am planting a couple of rows of peaches and cream for my neighbor. Waited two weeks between planting and have over 1000 feet between the first two. I am waiting three weeks later to plant my sweet corn just to be safe

I have a doe who starts putting hay in her nesting box about a week early every time. We have doe who has never been bred who picks up hay and piles it up in a corner. They are all so different.
I ordered my first pressure canner today. I have been using mylar bags and oxygen absorbers for pasta, dried beans, and rice. You are awesome and keep me motivated!

I agree with you completely about the 10-10-10! For me I am not all about organic as much as I am against the GMO crops.

Patara, Could you share how you have the bunnies in your garden with a double wall system? I’m thinking about running are bunnies around the garden and in some smaller beds. I’ve had a heck of a time with my corns germination.
Had a gopher come up and take out 2 full grown zucchini plants , 5 bell pepper plants, and 3 tomato plants! In the last month
I had a big old New Zealand that would get out of her hutch on a regular basis. She was so big she’d push the door until she could squeeze thru. She was easy to catch because she’d be doing the lopitty lope I’m movin’ now. So funny. A month later we’d have a litter of little cotton tails. She had more little cotton tails in her life time than she had meat rabbits.
