I'm buying more cans of freeze dried food this coming week. I also bought some seed potatoes, onion sets and sweet potato slips yesterday.
Like everyone here I feel a real pressure to have as much food storage on hand that I can.

Ours is 4.49 right now. My husbands place of work has two trucks down because of this green stuff. My husbands truck that he drives is one of them. Been waiting two month now on a chip that hasn’t come in to fix them. So no work right now. The whole world is upside down since the shutdown.
Our fuel is $2.20 a litre in Australia. That’s 8.30 a gallon.
So many factors that the average person on the street isn't knowledgeable regarding the economy, which makes them susceptible to any lie somebody slick can lay on them. Now that ignorance may be on the individual, but the situation is not. I know exactly who's to blame.
Cheapest gas up here in the mountains of NO. California is $5.89 and in some places up here at $5.999, like 1/10th of a cent means not $6 yet..lol. And that is for regular, didn't even bother to see what Diesel is going for.
In Commiefornia gas is already $6 and there is no end of this nonsense…

I'm a teacher in California and I homeschool in the evenings. There are many educators that do the same.
I don’t want to hear a word about schools complaining about high fuel prices. They went a year + without running busses.
Bought our first Kia in 2004. Upgraded to a K5 last August because we're getting old and want comfort. Plus the included toys are still a novelty for us. Especially the back up camera. Push button start is still weird to us. Thing gets 36 miles per gallon. $6.50+ Commiefornia gas prices are getting prohibitive to driving. Having to make wife think twice on trips to store.
My area of Arizona has gone up from $4.69 to $5.19 in 5 days.
i ordered multiple items a month ago and i am amazed at how none of the important items (canning lids) but unimportant crap ( dress) from across world showed up. grrr
It is $9.94 a gallon now where we are in norhtern Ontario Canada.
The kids will go back to on line learning. Virtual classes.

Many will be homeless. Are going to loose homes and apartments. And cars. Can't live in cars either. Because I don't think they will be sending out checks to everyone for this. Or have rent forgiveness.

Sorry, I'm late to the party. Patara PLEASE give us general measurements for the strawberry jam you make, and where we can get the spoon. You know the one. (I don't think a spoon purchase is going to take us out, and if it does then we're alot worse off than we could ever dream of. A wood spoon is much more valuable than just as a spoon.) So please dish on measuring the jam stuff. Love the "Nosey Nellie" voice, lol.
