Another pasta trick; take the noodles in both hands and twist so they fan out on top. When you let go, they fan out around the edge of the pot, slip down into the water on their own, and don't need to be stirred as urgently, since they each only have one small point of contact where they can get stuck to each other.
Liquid to rice ratio is 2:1. So remember for every one cup of rice you add two cups of water.
Thank you for showing your food struggles as well as your successes. So many people show only perfection then I feel foolish not being able to do something as simple as make rice. ☺
Where did you get that lid opener?? I can’t find it on your Amazon storefront and I need one!
Rice is 1 cup rice 2 cups liquid. Comes out perfect every time. Use different broths for different flavour.
We love jambalaya with shrimp in our house.
What is the gadget that you used to pop the lid off your canned jars?
I love watching you cook. I learned to cook with a little of this and a little of that. You remind me of me when I was much younger (I’m now 65).
Looks really good !!
My son is a chef and he taught me that you should never heat your oil ahead of time. Heat Your pan when hot add oil then immediately add your meat, your meat will never stick.
It’s a pot jambalaya is one of my go to busy weeknight meals but you put some yummy twists on it I’m definitely going to try! Also where did you get your wooden spatula/spoon from? That looks like a good kitchen tool. Thanks as always for sharing, I love your channel.
Hello Becky
How did you can your beef?
Thank you
Love watching your videos!!!
great job Becky. I love watching your videos. Does canned meat have a weird/bad smell when you open it after months of storage, like store bought canned meats?
Hello Becky
How did you can your beef?
Love your videos THANK YOU
Andrea
Always love your videos. Quick question, how do you clean your stove when food spills on the burners?
Great ideas for fast meals. Josh is such a sweetie.
Love how you cook. I really enjoy every video you create. Love ya.
What is that tool you are using to open your canning jars?
I use my canned beef for tacos, sloppy Joe's, spaghetti and so much more! My kids are able to open a jar and add it to macaroni and cheese making themselves hamburger helper! Thanks for sharing!
You & The Wads are my go to channels! Love that you all watch each other. It’s like two of my most favorite worlds colliding!
When I watch some YouTube channels who cook their stoves look like they are just out of the showroom, I love that you are so natural Becky and you obviously use your equipment as it should be used ❤️
Thank you, Becky. Your videos are fun and inspiring!
I enjoy watching this channel, you inspire me especially with your gardening you make it fun to watch.
The waste associated with cooking ahead often concerns me (cling wrap, plastic bags etc)….but it would be so good to have such great meals ready to go! I think I need to get creative! Thanks Becky for your inspiration.
My daughter and I love watching your videos. I love learning about freezer meals and gardening. I made the breakfast sandwiches and froze them that I saw in one of your videos. This busy mom thanks you for your ideas it sure saves me time doing freezer meals.
Loved this i must try the Jumbilia can this be stored in the freezer and Microwaved as i have got to have surgery and I want the family to have meals ready, love the Kung pow recipe too. many thanks for sharing. Julie from England xxx
My Cajun husband schooled me years ago on how to properly pronounce andouille. It’s “on-dew-we”. Love your videos.
The way you mention just Josh eating the baked oatmeal, it makes me curious what you eat for breakfast, if you don't mind sharing!
I wonder if you could show all the meals plated up.
