Not happening here in Illinois, but they are holding between $100-175 if you use a debit or credit card. It will revert back once you pump your gas.
Where I live we have had to prepay or use a debit or credit card before we pump any gas. All of Truckstops I have been are the same way. I drove for 15 years and it has always been that.

Hey Patera, just wanted to let you know that we also live in East Tennessee around the Bean Station area. We just went to fill our truck up today and the last two times we have gone to fill up, the pump cuts us off at $80.00. So then we have to drive to another store to finish filling up. We also went to our local grocery store to grab a few things to grill cheeseburgers this weekend and the Helmans mayo we needed was $7.79 per jar! Absolutely insane!!

Saturday a chicken farm burned to ground killing 200 thousand chickens…23rd food plant to burn to ground this year….govt has already killed over 27 million chickens
People throwing out food! We walk our dogs every evening and two nights ago we came across a bunch of food left out on the sidewalk for trash pickup. We were horrified, so we went back after our walk, boxed up the food, put a “Free Food” sign on the box and placed it on a main road near the sidewalk for anyone to see and partake. The following night we found the box untouched with all the food still there! Continuing on, down the block, we found more food at a different house set out for the trash! At the first house we found even more food! These are all canned goods like soups, broth, vegetables and fruit as well as some canned dog food, 4 4lb bags of sugar, a box of flour, 4 things of salt, a canister of oats and even a #10 can of potato flakes. What the heck? I have never seen food thrown out like this and especially in times like this. We just kept shaking our heads. We took the food home. We’ll use what we can and hold onto it to give away as needed. Most of the cans are not expired, some are recently past the best buy date and only one was damaged. Unbelievable! I wanted to post a picture of the haul but did not see a means to do so.
I’m in Texas, we’re not having to get gas slips. The gas went down to $4.15, I’m surprised. They probably lowered it for the holiday weekend. Crooks.
Mine are only 15” apart because hubs is not a fan of the idea of HUGE garden beds… so here’s hopin!!

Wow all these animals to care for. My grandparents feed cattle 3 times a day everyday big responsibility. God bless you thank you for sharing it takes courage to be a great American Farmer!

Gas $4.73, here at n Ma… crazy !!
Nobody steals anything here. Small town so everyone knows you. And we all carry guns, even though there is no need, we just like to. Lol
Be careful about the gas theft. Many times when a car has a locking gas tank and even those that don’t, the thief’s will punch a hole directly into your gas tank and just drain it that way.
