I don’t know what I’m gonna do when they show up. I’ve been telling them for years that they needed to put back dried and canned goods, but I have in-laws and a sibling that hasn’t put back a thing. They all know I have. They’re gonna show up. It’s a given. It’s gonna be sad, but they have been warned.

You got a life. If the lady knew anything, she would realize that you don't got time nor are required to answer her questions. There are thousands of resources out there. We got away from those people. They were in our life a long time ago because I have a dad who is a big time enabler and enabled them. Some are now dead because my dad, in what we say in the field of addiction, "loved them to death." I keep telling people, don't enable. Once you enable, it doesn't go away. Families of drug addicts deal with it constantly.

Patara, I had a friend that continually to me the if the SHTF that they were coming to my house to be Fed & Protected. I finally had to tell this person that, they would not be allowed into my home if that did indeed happen. " Once the Front Door was locked and barred nobody gets in. He was shocked!. I told him that he and his wife had not contributed to the party and no way would I be allowed to share. I told they the story about the Ant & the Grasshopper. They still have not stored and saved. So, I feel your pain and thinking.

Yesterday we had 80 degrees hare in Wales, UK. We had to go indoors in the afternoon. I doubt I could work in 90 degrees.
