So happy you’re feeling better Serina!!
It has been a while since I have come to your channel .. So this IS kinda confusing I took my garden out last year being released from a hospital needing o2 and then put mine in this year all the seeds I planted and grew them into ..with my 3rd Covid hit in my lungs and I dont remember much about it other than I wouldnt stop until it was done because my kids im sure could water and maybe try to control the plants if I didnt make it . I as I said dont know whats happening after being away so long but you look like you have BEEN THREW IT…In some way but cant say it? IDK .I hope we get you back full on by august or its heartbreaking ! I wish both of you the best in every single way . Lets go you guys!!
Most people who start a small business will either work 60 hours/week or the business folds. Going for an agricultural business can be extremely tough unless you're aware of your personal limitations and the people who want your stuff.
It's smart to look over what is working for you, what's taking time and if the effort is both efficient and something you enjoy. There's nothing worse than slogging through, resenting the people and time you spent.
Obviously the flowers are a market in the local area that people enjoy. I do think food sales, veggies, will be better this year, nothing extravagant, but food prices are one factor you have an advantage over.
Danielle from Northlawn Flower Farm gave the tip that at Aldi, they throw away the black flower buckets, and that she asked if she could have some and was no problem. Free flower buckets.
