In this video we harvested our eggplant and some Red Lasoda potatoes for the first time this year. We also harvested our Betterboy tomatoes, climbing Rattlesnake green beans, cucumbers, swiss chard, and some Mammoth jalapeno peppers!

Nice harvests! How great to eat almost entirely from your own garden! There is something exciting about digging up new potatoes, like searching for buried treasure!

I love the Chinese variety eggplant better because I always get more fruit. Your chard looks beautiful. Do you prune your cucumbers? My garden is not as far along as yours but I was going to try pruning this year to see if I get more cucs.
I pulled a potato plant from a bed I didn’t want it in… it had so many little baby potatoes on it I replanted it. I like to experiment too. Well it’s blooming so I’ll find out soon.
