What's the cost of that pond ? im interested.
Love the pond! I hope you'll show us the pond lit up at night and when you have fish in it too…and once all the plants are around it. Some really great ideas like the hiding cave for the fish and a place to dangle your feet. Very cool!
Was thinking about looking for the follow up video, but then I saw this video was JUST released!
BS. The pond expert. Definition of an expert is a has been spurt under pressure. Give it a few years and you'll end up with an anaerobic situation. To prevent that you'll have to do a complete pond clean out each year. It's a money making racket. You can not have a true eco system with a man made pond. Only nature can provide that. Man made ornamental ponds are nothing more than an outdoor aquarium.
Beautiful pond, wonderful concept. You mentioned putting links to Ed’s site/info/etc., but I don’t see links. Would you please add the links or respond with links? I love all your videos and info, and appreciate all you do!
Koi, goldfish or smaller native fish?
Hello from a fellow Michigan gardener! (Lapeer) I just put in a 9×8 koi pond in my garden as-well. I was looking into adding water plants to it! Great video!
How do you eat a pond?
You really should have given us a long version as an option to see more of the rebuild! It very well could have been one of your highest watched videos!
Don't use chlorinated water when cleaning your media it will kill the biofilter. A biofilter can take weeks to establish too. I'm sure you have done your research though. It is the most important thing to establish before introducing fish if you don't want them dying left and right. Its called the nitrogen cycle.
Omg this is absolutely amazing and exciting for me because I’ve been wondering what I should do with my little pond and I think this will be perfect!!! Thank you so much!!!
need more episodes of this and show us what type of fish you add in and things like that and how you feed them just everything that pond is AWESOME
So beautiful!!!! Enjoy ! I desperately want a place just like this ! sooo Serene!
Aquascape makes some cool systems.
May want to expand the carrying capacity of the pool when introducing fatheads or garden carp.
Only cleaning the bio filter and container once a year? Good luck. Once a month is more realistic. AuquaScape definitely underplays how much maintenance is involved with keeping clear water in a pond. They sure like to sell their bacteria as a cure all for clean and clear water but the reality is, if you want clear water, it’s a never ending process. Simuler with amending your soil with nutrients – It’s a constant never ending activity. You have to work at it all the time if you truly want clear water. Once a year, simply isn’t realistic or true. Your water will be murky and green within a month.
Looks Awesome! ❤
What a wonderful place to lay on a recliner and take a nap to the sound of the water fall. Just lovely.
Looks great! I love the fossils as well. Will you be highlighting the types of aquatic animals you will be putting in?
Very awesome. Can't wait to see what you can grow in it. I would like to do this in a few places front yard and my garden . Very cool video. Oh and the giant crimson tomatoes are going crazy . Can't wait to see how it tasted . They're pretty vigorous tomato plants. They clone very easy.
You have a bit of paradise in your backyard. Love it!❤️
