  1. Slice potatoes thin & mix with ranch or Italian dressing season pack. Place on foil. Place another foil on top, make a foil pack. Grill for 10-15 minutes on each side. Open and add cheese. Either season pack works.

  2. Please don’t use the same tongs for raw meat and veggies. Wash in between or have 2 sets. We love grilled veggies too- onions, mushrooms, peppers, zucchini and tomatoes (with balsamic vinegar).

  3. Amazon has a burger patty maker that makes 8 patties and uses 2 lbs of ground beef. It's called shape + store freezer container. It's flat and makes 6 6sided patties. Also. when you want to grill onions, you should slice them at least a half inch thick and put a toothpick through the side to keep them together.

  4. After cleaning your grill take a paper towel with long tongs, dip in veg/olive oil and rub the grates to help with sticking. You will love grilling veggies!

  5. I love grilled or roasted corn on the cob. Just rub with a little olive oil and sprinkle on sat and pepper. Just grill until starting to brown a little. No butter needed as the olive oil is enough.. love your channel and have been watching for a while. Love all you freezer meals and your gardening. So great that you are sharing the progress on the new house, and what a beautiful view you have to sit and eat your meals and relax. Thank you for sharing ❤️❤️❤️

  6. It would be helpful if you could give dates on you videos. When you said you hadn’t been shopping in weeks my first thought was but in a couple of videos ago you went to Costco. When you’re changing days just throw a date on the screen, might circumvent snarky comments.

  7. I read a medical article where a young woman who was eating meat that had been grilled and they had used one of those metal brush type grill brush cleaners, some of the wire bristles came off and it wasn't noticed and stuck to the meat. She ended up swallowing a couple of the wire bristles. She had to have surgery to remove the bristles and repair the damage to her intestinal tract. She had to have an ileostomy to let the damage heal and after eight months she was able to have it reversed. So sad. But a big lesson and eye opener. Please be careful.

  8. How many days do you keep and eat leftovers? My hubby won't eat anything that's been cooked, and refrigerated over 24-30 hours. He prefers to never eat leftovers. Lol he would never eat the breakfast casseroles that you divide out for the week. BUT I spoiled him and he's my best friend and companion, so I cater to him. We are older and met later in life after life had left both of us with huge holes in our hearts. While I have no issues with left overs, when I was alone I would make spinach artichoke dip and that's what I would eat all week or a pot of spaghetti etc.

  9. When in Naples, I had a delicious grilled eggplant dish. Thin long slices of eggplant, lightly oiled (using olive oil) and grilled. Then layers while warm with salt, pepper, minced garlic, some parsly, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil. Chilled for a bit and then eaten at room temperature

  10. I always put a piece of foil on the grill when I turn it on. It helps whatever is stuck to the grill get really charred and easy to clean off. I don’t know if there is any reason why you shouldn’t do that because I am not a very experienced griller, but my dad always did that and it works great.

  11. Hey Becky! I see many are recommending using an onion to clean the grill, but my husband can't stand the flavor of onions. I found a device called Grill Rescue, which uses a soaked scrubbing pad to steam clean the grates. They have no metal and clean like a dream!

  12. I found a small salad spinner at Ross for about $6 and I love it. I have to do more 'loads' to wash lettuce; most other produce like berries etc can be done in one- but I'm happy for the cabinet space I've saved opposed to buying a large salad spinner

  13. If you have an old metal baking dish we do all our roasts in the barbeque in the summ. My favourite is a good old leg of lamb with rosemary and garlic. Keeps the house a little cooler too

  14. As I recall, you bought a 2pack of the flat grill sheets at your Costco haul. Pork is done at 145^ F. lol made my comment before you showed the pans.

  15. I’ve never liked cleaning my BBQ grills so I started using a COOKINA Barbecue Grilling Sheet for my BBQ. It give the same results but without having to clean the grill after. I’ve been using my sheet for a few years now and clean it after use with dishes.

It’s a great Alternative to aluminum foil. Ideal for grilling sticky marinated food. It’s reusable, reversible and easy to clean. That’s my suggestion. 😉

And thank you for all your videos.
