Metal putty knife would work on the foam. They're expensive but you can get the blinds where you can see out but nobody can see in. Nails on a chalkboard.
Placing beer in a shallow dish and placing that among your garden plants will kill slugs! I put some chicken meals in the freezer today. As with so many others, you have inspired me. Its so needed because I cannot stand on my feet very long due to a back condition. You are so blessed to have a handy husband. Bless you both!!! Love from Gresham!
Absolutley really enjoyed this video you guys are doing so well with the renovations. love to all xxx
We also live in Western Washington and have a view. At certain times of the day, on those rare days that the sun is out, we also needed a solution. Our solution is retractable Sunsetter awnings. We got ours 2 years ago through Costco (not the warehouse, but their online partners) and they had a large selection of fabrics. Last year when we checked for some friends for the same deals, COVID had made Sunsetter scale back their offerings with Costco. It's worth checking into. We love ours, and the house stays cooler and the patio is usable in the middle of the day, too. You just retract it in or out. Contact me if you want me to send pictures of those.
Nails on a chalkboard! The sunroom is definitely an addition. My husband remodeled houses so I know everything you are doing.
There's times when we were doing our house we would work for hours and I would think it looks like we had not done much but it's that detail work that takes so long . Your both doing a great job.
Your garlic looks so good, despite all the weeds!
Everything I’m reading is that mold is bad for chickens, can someone clear this up? Genuinely curious lol
not fond of your paint color but i love your garden. anxious to see everything done
That mole is going to need a breath mint !
Have you watched The Seasonal Homestead? She has huge problems sometimes with pests but she is so philosophical and resilient.
Becky for future knowledge you can go get in the cookware area usually in a hardware store near the glass top stove cleaner is a razor blade holder that holds it to where you could have gone through it and held it the way you're holding it with your hand and the holder itself is much more comfortable than holding a racer blade by itself
A mole!!! How cute. We don't have moles where I live. Your gardening skills are so impressive. I really admire you.
I couldn't help but notice Josh's Dunder Mifflin shirt. Rad. You've probably heard of it, but a great Podcast is the Office Ladies.
Josh is AMAZING how he doesn't stop!!!
Thank you for sharing the importance of Grace, Patience and Appreciation.
Better to do what you can and don't dwell and what you can't. I am enjoying the progress for the new home.
Very hard working.
Becky you are AMAZING ❤️
Sheer blinds sound lovely but if your wanting blinds to keep the heat out I think with sheer you will be wasting your money because they won’t keep out the heat or cold.
Just a curiosity question: aren't you supposed to put the carpet down before the baseboards?
"Shelling peas" are my favourite food. I much prefer them to sugar snap peas or snow peas. I've never shelled them all at once though. I grow them in stages (sow new plants every week or two weeks instead of all at once) so that all my plants are at different stages. I don't preserve them in any way, just eat them fresh in small amounts as they ripen (if I can stop the cockatoos from stealing them!). Since they are my favourite fresh food it is the best way for me to enjoy them over the longest period of time. I only pick and shell them when I am about to eat them and as close to picking time as possible to enjoy the sweetness.
Do you have any ready cilantro I grew some and I'm not sure to tell when it's ready to harvest do you have any I could see?
Why wouldn't you have painted before putting up the trim on the walls?
Hi Becky, what do you mean when you say “it’s going to bolt”. Thanks
Just an FYI the Costco croissants freeze really well. I frequently buy them and I will put them in a gallon zip lock freezer bag half of them and freeze them and then I just defrost them as I need I typically eat them with Nutella and just put them for like 20 seconds in the microwave and their completely fine so that's how I prefer him but just like any other bread it's good you just take one out as needed
