I believe if a person, just b*!#$ about what they see as the problem, but don't offer a solution, options to try, suggestions to look for options, they are as much to blame, as the ones that create the problem. You offer so many skills, ideas, suggestions, encouragement…. You are helping the world.

The 5 can plan is a great idea.i started doing that years ago with ammo ,and I have been hand loading since 1978 ,I now have more ammo than some gun shops.i have so many ammo cans filled that my wife has stacked them and uses them as lamp stands .she just puts a throw that she likes over them ,and presto!they become furniture.lol I never looked at it as hoarding,I just go by the public rifle range and clean up the area and in the process I usually sweep up several hundred empty pieces of brass .I bring it home and clean and polish it back up and inspect each case .I have often told people there the empty case is the most costly part of the loaded cartridge.and they shouldn't leave it lay ,or just toss it in the trashcan.one young boy brought me 5 box's of empty 243 Winchester brass.he had just sat ,at the bench and fired .I thanked him several times.his daddy said they had just bought it and they wasn't going to ever reload it .a few weeks before deer season is when you want to ride by and look see what's laying around or in the trashcan .I always keep a handful of empty plastic grocery bags in my truck ,who knows what you might find often I will find a big patch of ramps or mushrooms in the spring and rifle and pistol brass in the fall .I don't do much farming anymore but I have done alot of canning this year .I have grown several big tomatoes and peppers ,and I put away alot of potatoes .do you reckon you could water bath can a watermelon?I know it sounds silly, but I have kept 2 of my grandchildren for the last 2weeks each day ,and they love watermelon ,and I love it to so we usually eat 1each week.last summer we eat about 10 in 2 weeks .when I was in the nursing home after my stroke ,I would have my wife and my mother-in-law bring me watermelon from a small produce and deli just across the field .brad always has the best fresh watermelon around .

When you get to Aldo and buy your 3 cans of veggies, also pick up some Aldi Chili (no beans, means more meat) and pick up some of the corned beef and hash. Put a fried egg on top. Total nutrition, add a cup of coffee. Well fed and happy 🙂 Cheap eats, fully belly.
