Ive been tossing my tomatoes in the freezer as they ripen, waiting till I have enough to process, and trying to find a good recipe for salsa… Completely ignored my ball canning book, but after watching this I will go through it and follow this recipe. I have pressure canned a little, and this will be my first time water bath canning. Thank you for all that you do!

Hey Patara about 12 yrs ago my parents paid a visit to my sister that lives in Knoxville, her father in law at that time gave my dad a german heirloom tomato from there..they were amazing!!! I grew them for about 3 yrs and then never saved the seeds. Now I am sick about it. They were absolutely awesome!!!!

I canned 12 quarts of chicken broth in the last couple of days and put several quart bags of chicken in the freezer. I could have just canned the chicken but, didn’t think of it until after I cooked it so, I just threw it in the freezer.
