Hydroponics Made Easy! Today, we’re going to grow some lettuce in just water! No soil, no digging, no mulching, and no worrying about watering! As a soil-lover, this is going to be an interesting one!
Join me today in this 3 part series where we grow lettuce, right from seed, and then transplant into the Vivosun 4 Bucket DWC Hydroponic system. Part 1 will be explaining Hydroponics, setting up the system (indoors in this case) as well as planting the lettuce plugs (I cheat and use a litttttle bit of soil). What we do today will set us up for success for the entire project. I’m dividing it into 3 videos as we’ll likely cover a lot of material!

We got 6 of these , well actually my kids did as q special gift. We planted for pizza toppings. Ohhh patio tomatoes, Roma are wow. Basil, spinach, bell pepers are crazy. Qn yep last one has red leaf lettuce. Its so great your view …. try the bell peppers an romas
I'd really like to see what happens if you grow indoor watermelons with that thing.
Try carrots
I don't have any space for this setup. I'm not sure how nutritious the foods will be. We get so much hydroponic lettuce and tomatoes in the stores, flavourless, watery tasting.
Plus I am lazy, don't need more stuff to clean out, vigilance or fussing. I fully admit, I am lazy.
I’d like to see cucumbers or bell peppers grown in hydroponics. I especially don’t have good luck in Florida, zone 10 growing any kind of bell peppers.
I wonder if root vegetables can be grown using this system. Excited about this series!

I know spinach is probably similar to lettuce, but I’d love to see it.
::REQUEST TOPIC:: I have tried to find info on growing strawberries in a hydro system. there are a couple of vids out containing some info, but it is very vague. I would love to see your input with your strawberry expertise on growing hydro strawberries. if i could grow strawberries in my "to be left unnamed" indoor hydro system, i would be a very happy boy! thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge with us!
