This is a special video, as myself and @Jacques in the Garden made our way out to Georgia to meet a long-time Instagram friend, Claudia (Her channel: https://bit.ly/3QsDEp7). Her husband Weekes, who is an avid gardener, got into a terrible car accident and almost died four times, leaving him mostly paralyzed.
We decided to head out and spruce up the garden, making it just a bit more accessible for Weekes to access with the new reality he was facing – and got a lot of inspiration along the way. What an incredible mind and spirit he had! I hope you enjoy this video – it’s thanks to YOUR support of Epic Gardening that we’re able to do projects like this.

Wow what a beautiful thing u guys did that was so amazing and inspiring
Amazing and humbling video. I love when he said “learn to traverse the terrain” which moved me. With his strength and perseverance, he will conquer anything, and it shows with his determination to let gardening heal him. Thank you for sharing their story and for your generosity which only bring more love for gardening to them. You guys rock!
What an amazing story. Thank you for sharing!
Amazing job Kevin, Jacques and Eric!
I love this!!!
Gotta get some off-road tires on that walker! That man'll be scooting all over that garden in no time!
Very inspiring gentleman. Wonderful that he didn't let the accident hinder him in anyway. Loved his philosophy of adapting to any situation.
I love Claudia, and I've been following her on Insta for quite some time. This makes my heart so happy.
Beautiful storytelling. Thanks to you, Claudia, and Weekes for bringing us along for the journey.
You guys rock! ❤ Thank you for sharing Claudia and Weekes story.
This is amazing. I love Claudia and I'm so happy to see her husband's outlook on his journey. God is good
An inspiring story and people, thank you for sharing!
Amazing job! I raise bed gardening because of limitations and it’s really given me a passion that I would have missed out on without tall raised beds.
Claudia and Weeks have a beautiful garden. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Loved this video!! Thank you for sharing. I hope this couple enjoys many more days to come in their garden.
Love this. Gardening is occupational therapy, and mental health therapy too. And there are finally some tools available to make gardening more accessible.
What a wonderful gift! I also love my guerilla wagon. At 82 using a conventional wheelbarrow is a little daunting but my guerilla is so easy to use and empty. Made a real difference in how much I could get done.
This was amazing to watch, thank you. From a disabled gardener in Western Australia.
You guys are good dudes. Awesome video.
So inspirational. Weekes, you have such an amazing outlook. Stay positive man and keep on growing.
This is an amazing story! Thanks for going out of your 'every day' and organize and execute this. He is such an inspiration.
So inspiring!
This is crazy!! I live in Lagrange, Ga which is about 30 minutes south of newnan!! My girlfriend and I watch tons of your videos each night while cooking and eating dinner. I started gardening for the first time about 3 months ago when I arrived home from work to a front porch full of seedlings. Had no idea what I was doing. Now I've got 2 8×4 foot 20" raised beds full of veggies that I built and planted myself. Plus an insect netting covered hinged hoop lid for one of them. Along with about 25 potted veggies and herbs. There is not a single level spot in my yard but i leveled all of my beds and have the pots on stones. I've got my next project framed up and leveled out hoping to get my soil mixed and added before the vacation in 2 days. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about my plants now. This Is the passion that I've been looking for in life.
When you guys put the logs in the bottom of the beds, are you checking for termite damage? I added some redwood logs to the bottom of one of my beds and about 3 weeks later termites were eating the roots of my corn.
