Many people don’t realise that there is a very simple trick you can use to multiply your strawberries to create literally a lifetime supply of strawberries. It’s far easier than planting seeds or dividing plants! All you need is one plant. Ben show us how in this week’s episode.

  1. Thanks for your exactly prepared videos . I learn a lot for my work in the garden and nearby I improve my English because of your clear pronounciation and the undertitles. It helps me enormously and it's just fun. COMPLIMENT ! Regards and SERVUS from Bine/Austria

  2. Great video as always Ben. I've not had much luck growing strawberries this year. Had a whole load growing but they never ripened, they just stayed white then went bad. Do you think you could possibly do a video of what could go wrong when growing strawberries?

  3. Put seeds in the freezer for a couple of weeks before germination and let warm up slowly.
Don’t plant strawberries in soil that has had potatoes, tomatoes or peppers in for the previous 3 years.

  4. I have a strawberry bed but they never seem to produce. They don’t have many flowers and no fruit. They are about 2 years old now. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any ideas?

  5. Hi Ben, my strawberries are older and producing small fruit, I am thinking I need to start over with fresh stock, I have tried growing the pups but they produced small fruit as well. What do you think? I have kept them watered fed & mulched but still tiny fruit. Thankyou.

  6. Ben, I live in the US in zone 8 and was wondering, can I also go by your channel on when to plant ect along with you. or is my zone 8 totally different from your own….I enjoy your channel and have learned so much but I want to make sure what I plant and when is not going to fail on me.

  7. Bob Roberts, I have fire ants here. the way to eradicate them is get borax, sugar and water, you want it pretty thick, so little water, the ants will take back to queen.

  8. Hi , I'm new to your channel and just starting my mini allotment in my back garden. It's September now, so just getting ready for next year, not really sure what to start growing, strawberries for sure, I have an apple tree and a part tree but not sure what they produce is edible I've never bothered with them much…. anyhow just to say LOVING THE CHANNEL

  9. I'm confused, you say 'at least 1 year old' do they survive the winter? I live where the winter gets below freezing quite often. Or do you keep them in a green house over the winter? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

  10. I would love to grow strawberries but I'm in the high desert of AZ so summers are BRUTAL (it's just now starting to dip into the 90s during the day, zone 10a). If I were to try and plant strawberries, how would I go about keeping them safe? It's hard to figure things out like fruit because I don't have to worry about winter, I have to worry about heat!
