You can make these with cheap terracotta pots and saucers just use silicone to seal the saucer to the top like a lid.
I put some "diy" ones in my mother's hanging pots. They did not dry out like most years and grew like crazy

You should grow Annona fruits or pawpaws there easy to grow fruits that cqm grow in your climate
How long before hard water clogs them with mineral deposits?
How much was it and will a local nursery have them for sale?
