Farmers Markets are tough business, and this week starts with one of our worst markets of the season. But if we want to be a successful business, we are going to have to figure out a way to deal with markets where the flowers don’t sell. This week our solution is to follow up a poor selling Farmers market, with a weekend where we add an additional Sunday Farmers market into the mix. That means, more harvesting, more arranging, more effort, and more market time in our attempt ro rebound, and go from one of our worst weekends of the season, to one of our best weekends of the season! This video took a ton of effort to make, and something as simple as a like and a comment helps YouTube know that you enjoyed your time with us. So if you want to support us, please like and leave a comment down below. Thanks for watching!

Random question…. Do you guys still have your chickens?
Just love your channel. A kind suggestion for your market display is to start the first row of flowers on a lower level, like knee height, and then stair step them higher to table level. This way the bouquets become more visible to those passing by. If they can see them more clearly from farther away it’s going to be harder to resist those beautiful blooms!!
Unsolicited suggestion (hehe) I wonder if you guys would benefit from investing in a white tent? The red tint on the flowers takes away from the beautiful colours of your bouquets!
Great video. I love the positive attitude. Also, I gotta say Serena's bouquets are beautiful and they get even better as time goes by. Watching your channel for 2 years now and I see the progression of her skills and its impressive how she grows as a bouquet designer. Well done you guys!
Sitting here watching your unpacking video fromJohnnySeeds for 2022 Season. I have a suggestion for future video. When business gets a little quieter, but before you place yourJohnny’s seeds order for next Spring. Take the info you shared on your new seeds (video from 6 mos ago) and review and show how it did in your garden and how they performed for your market bouquets.
I know the red canopy aligns with your company name but I wonder if there is another way you can play homage to that? The red hue from the sun doesn’t do all the gorgeous colours justice, white would help them really shine.
The first one you finished making with the pinks and whites was ❤️
I don’t love the brown licianthus
I wonder how many people come to buy some flowers to save the seeds after they've dried/died off, ik i'd save tons of zinnia seeds from you guys haha, maybe a seed saving bouquet? ooooo
Looks like most every wonderful thing that I could say has already been said, so I'll simply say, loved EVERY SINGLE THING about this video and as for the bouquets… resplendent works of art… EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM!!!
Beautiful bouquets!
I completely understand this is by no means the point of the video, but Serena’s dress at the market is gorgeous! I love her style.
When you go out at night to harvest, do you ever run into a varmint of some sort?
Suggest you consider changing the layout of the Saturday market – maybe a U-shape so customers walk in between the bouquets. Just a small change will catch peoples attention. Great job on the bouquets this week!
Gorgeous zinnia bouquets. Go Serena!
Flower stand needs cleaning…
That editing with the music and lighting was so awesome
Incredible shots of the lightning! Amazing with the sunset colours.
Love this story, your vacation, the zinnias and lisianthus shots, and the gorgeous storm videos!
,
I didn't notice any dried flowers on the Sunday Market. Wondering if they may sold since people were saying they were going somewhere. I'm sure you already thought of that.
Love the approach. Setback means stop. Take stock. Take a break. Refresh. Next step.
You two are a phenomenal team with sharing the care of your family, helping each other with their projects, giving each other time to rest, and dedication to the success of the farm.
The flowers are growing so well and your bouquet skills are beautiful. If I lived there, I would happily be a regular flower and veggie buyer. Thanks for sharing your insight to your farming business.
I hope you both give yourselves the regular rest you need.
Loved this video! It is such a wonderful thing you let us peak into your world and even share your process with us! Thank you for being so honest with your struggles and sucesses. That´s what is making this so very interesting and valuable. So exciting to see you grow.
