Thanks, always nice to hear from you! But…down here in S FL, there is no cool storage except the fridge! Guess illjust grow & eat in the winter!
If you don’t get a frost can you leave them in ground and dig them up as needed? I live in CA. No frost and no rain.
I’ve stored potatoes for 6-8 months and they are still great
Mine have been planted for quite a while. They are nice and green but no blooms yet. I dont remember when i started them. How long doe it usually take before harvest?
So where can you store them if you don't have a root cellar or basement?

Hi, wow, I just had a question about storing potatoes today and here you are! I was wondering about the other side of the season though, I have just bought some "seed" potatoes from a seed company to grow my own, but I don't have room to plant them all at once. I was wondering if storing them in a cool dark place in paper bags would work to save some to plant later. Southern hemisphere here, my season is just starting!
