First frost in South Carolina can be as late as Mid-December. It just really depends. It may frost one night then go back up to 70-80 till Christmas. Fall gardening in SC is the way to go. Far better than spring.
Have you ever grown or had purple sweet potatoes? I asked this ? before you found the sweet potatoes. Have you spoke with Jason @ Sow the Land? I think he has a similar condition, might get some tips from him. Will be praying for you.

Hi Jess! Watching you struggle these past weeks is heartbreaking. I absolutely admire your perseverance for living your best life on the farm with your beautiful family and all your critters. Big congrats on your new book. I will be asking our local library here to bring it in.
You likely already have researched this but I wonder if you have considered your eczema to be related to salicylate sensitivity? There are many fruits and veg that contain this, and it is a common trigger for many.. Sometimes a carnivore or even low carb diet can also help. Hang in there girl.there must be an answer for you somewhere out there❤️

I was a dermatology rep for years. You look to have more contact dermatitis which leads to believe it’s something to do with soap or detergent.
