We have a Ford Expedition that has a fire safety recall….they don't have part and don't know when the part is coming in ….yet i am to pay for the vehicle…..its NEW
So think about it everytime you pull up to cars they can catch on fire…
The gorge sucks. Drove it both ways today. No problems until out of the gorge in NC. Same thing two weeks ago. Hot Springs route longer but less stressful.

Back in the 80's they began a concerted effort to move us from a manufacturing economy to a service economy and they have largely succeeded. If we made our own products we would have stuff. American ingenuity and American quality have gone out the window unfortunately.

That's part of my car's problems. Apparently had a radiator leak. Ran out of coolant. Completely out. Engine overheated. Blew a head gasket. Had to get a used replacement engine. This one has problems.

I live in Asheville. Your first mistake was to trust anybody in Asheville to do anything about anything. This is normal in AALLLLLL aspects Asheville. Nope, I would not trust my vehicle to anyone in Asheville. Any model. So sorry you’re stuck in Asheville, and your car is broke.

Yep it takes forever to get replacement parts. I was broadsided Mother’s Day of 2021 it took 9 weeks to get my car fixed with new and used parts that the insurance company approved.
Look up all the recalls and problems that other people are having with the year and model of that car
Always have them put the used replaced part in the new box! As a former vehicle supervisor this is very important for proof the part was actually replaced.

My son works at Toyota in maple wood Mn they have over 30 cars waiting for parts for over 3 months. I have been waiting for a part for my car for over a months
I think you ran into the issue that businesses are running into all over the country. Very low on staff, those who are employed are all new. I’m an employer and I’m dealing with the same thing.
