On a north-facing mountainside in South Wales, Liz Zorab is creating the garden of her dreams that defies the odds. Using her years of growing experience, her new raised bed kitchen garden is full of food, flowers, and wildlife. I visited her back in the summer to pick up some great tips for any gardener looking to combine colour with crops and create a space for nature. I hope you are inspired by it as much as I am! Absolutely stunning garden Liz! You've inspired me to up my game!
A good reminder that pleasure is a valid yield from your garden.
Superb video, thank you again for sharing!
Oh my gosh! Well done Liz! So much achieved so quickly. A stunning video, it really shows off the beautiful site and stunning colours.
What a gorgeous video! I have been followed Liz’s progress over the last year in her new homestead. She has made amazing progress. Her raised beds are something I aspire to.
I love the friendship Huw, between you and Liz. You both inspire this zone6 mini farmer to try new things.
What a delightful garden walk with this lady. Thankyou for inviting her into your channel. I’m inspired!
So beautiful and inspiring!
Simply gorgeous!!!
Huw you like BBC Bristol? As the photography, pull down and the span is amazing. The Editor (Charlie) OMG what a cutting floor? Sound mixing nice it's a balance and found a wonderful medium, keep that no share lol sound is a sod to get right i know lol. Well produces thumbs up, and it's like a micro life on earth. 11/10
Lovely video, but may I point out that Earl Grey tea is made using the essential oil derived from a different plant, that is Citrus bergamia and not the Monarda plant in seen in the video?
I am super excited to learn you can make earl grey tea out of bee balm. I cannot wait to try it!!!
Lizs' Garden is beautiful! I'm so jealous of how good she is at growing flowers. Such variety and beauty!
But I also have to point out those beautiful initial shots of the garden you got, Huw! Makes me want to more there (even more!)
I just love Ms Zorab's garden and her approach! Definitely have to increase my cut flowers for next year!
BEAUTIFUL! ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Woww….. Amazing….
Liz and her garden are wonderful. I love her channel (and her tips for the kitchen).
I have a tip for the nicotiana that I learned from an orchardist – as well as the gorgeous flowers and fragrance, the leaves are sticky and are great planted under apple trees especially. The leaves will attract and trap all sorts of pests, particularly the codling moth in its various stages. Always a win.
Liz is a delight to listen to. Thanks for highlighting her.
Love this video! My winter project this year is to expand our pollinator garden. Great timing!
Great filming and editing Huw and Liz well done, great flower gardens, efforts and knowledge. I really enjoyed picking the bunch of flowers with you.
The music spoilt the video
Thank you Huw for sharing Liz's garden with us. It's inspired me to dedicate one of my Allotment plot beds to flowing annuals and perennials.
