I live in Massachusetts which type of permissions should I attend to plant and where to get seeds or young trees?
Love the videos, you have motivated me to start my own forest one day!!
I didn't realize that I needed a persimmon tree until I watched this.
Do you have a pawpaw tree?
I’ve enjoyed your videos for yrs. Just bought a small property and I have so many dreams for it inspired by the amazing things I’ve seen you accomplish! Keep up the awesome work!
Where’s the best place to buy a tree for central Jersey?
Oh I can’t wait to plant one of these!
do you have any pear trees James? Ours grew like crazy this summer so much so I tried to thin it out and branches still broke.
Okay okay, I’ll buy one, Jeeze, 3 months worth of every garden YouTuber making me wanna get one, I’m sold just because your in Nj like me love you the most bro no homo
Put my Nikita's gift in the ground a few months ago! A few years and I'll be just like you!
how did you manage to keep birds out?
I tried one for the first time the other day and it was terrible. It was like eating a news paper
Thank you!
Found a persimmon on the ground at our new property…just can’t find the tree it came off of. I will be watching closely to see what all I can find out there!
Absolutely love persimmons. We have both the soft and hard persimmons growing here in South Korea. What I love to do with the soft ones is put them in the freezer and make persimmon sorbet in the summer. Mind blowing delicious! Also love seeing Tuck in every video ❤️❤️
James. You are doing some amazing and valuable work. Thank to you, tuk and the team.
Tuck is such a cute baby dog!
Hope you and tuck have a follow-up. So many fruit. Do you leave the fallen fruit on the ground to fertilize your tree? Do you take the branch clippings and chop them around the tree to decompose with the fall leaves?
What a great channel!
Do you prune the leader to keep the height under control? I did that and wonder if I made a mistake. Thanks
We have 8 producing persimmon trees; 6 in back of house for squirrels and 2 in front for my wife and me. My concern is where are the squirrels planting all those seeds?! This year we froze 5 1-gallon bags for us to enjoy into next year. We just let thaw a few minutes and enjoy. Is there an easy way to remove seeds if we want to use pulp in a recipe? With this year’s bumper crop there was a lot of twig- breakage. We may be looking for an off year in ‘23. Nice video.
Yummy yummy yummy…… Can't wait to purchase a Nakita
James, your enthusiasm and passion for gardening are infectious. A lot of things about Youtube make me a bit jaded and pessimistic about the platform, but every now and then a channel like yours comes along and reminds me of the potential of Youtube and how it gives a platform to born educators and entertainers to do what they love best for a wide audience. Keep up the great work.
I have never tried persimmons , I guess they are good from the way you talk about them. Great video James and Tuck . Thanks .
Can you grow a sapling out of a persimmon that has been picked?
