Have you made quiche? A deep dish pie crust, 6 eggs, some sausage or bacon, cutup young potatoes, chopped onion, chopped peppers, thyme, salt, pepper, and two cups milk. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes. An easy breakfast and you can freeze these too.

I totally get it. When what you need is right out of your front door it's a beautiful thing. Not that you didn't work for it, because you most certainly did! But having it there is such an awesome feeling.

What a regal Rooster at 9:05 mark! I finally cut down the barren stems of "Holy Basil." The fragrance was delightful even without its leaves. You "taught" us to notice and enjoy even the tiniest of details in the garden. I'm thankful for that and for you. Give yourself some mental "grace" after a busy week of food prep & family.
