Got a small grow bag of potatoes to pull up in a couple days myself (Australia) can already see 3 growing on the top which is already better than the ones I tried growing at the start of the year.

Hi, you should mention the zone that this is possible in.
In central Canada we mulch tatties with straw and dog them up until the snow gets too deep. It often happens that the ones we miss come up in spring as "volunteers".
